Ami Vine House is a hidden, quiet gem in heart of Seapoint

We had an amazing and very special stay at Ami Vine House in January. The owners, Paul and Jenny, as well as their staff are super friendly. We loved their breakfast with a variety of delicious cold meats, cheese, honey, eggs etc etc 😋 The fresh fruit salad every morning was a big treat! It is a very unique and quirky Guesthouse with a beautiful bedrooms, pool and lush garden. We felt very safe and Seapoint main street is only a 2 min walk. Brilliant restaurants (La Boheme 👌) very close to Ami Vine House. Thank you so much Paul and Jenny!!!

Family style breakfast was wonderful! I got the chance to meet and chat to other guests, and the selection was great. Really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and wabi-sabi decor. Plus the staff was really helpful in storing my luggage and helping with offloading lots of baggage.

Ami Vine House is in a cul-de-sac, so Ubers often stopped on the main road. This was completely fine, however the occasional scare with a suspicious character happened when waiting on the corner.

Short stay in cute little cottage. Beautifully maintained. Easy check in. Great breakfast included. Amazing value for money. Close to beach, resturants and an easy walk into V&A waterfront. The walk to Camps Bay is also easy and scenic. Staff were all friendly, helpful and easy to reach.

It surpassed my expectation for style, decor and all facilities in my apartment. It was way classier than anything I’ve ever booked The service was exceptional, and the common kitchen and dining facilities were superb

Wouldn’t book again

The location is good, not far to walk to the promenade, the staff were friendly and attentive and accommodated my request to check in and leave a bit later; the room is well decorated and clean.

There was never any parking on the street of the guesthouse and the one night I had to park a bit of a distance away which poses a safety risk. The room is quite bright at night and the sound from other guests carries a lot. I didn’t sleep more than 4 hours both nights of my stay and left feeling exhausted.

Charming, colourful family-run B&B minutes from ocean

Friendly, responsive & helpful hosts. Colourful house filled with character & art. Excellent location, 5 min walk from beach, shops, restaurants in safe neighbourhood. Clean, spacious room & bathroom. Patio & pool would be delightful in summer.

Breakfast is minimal (but sufficient) in winter - self-serve tea/coffee and cereal/toast. Room was bit chilly at night/morning, though hosts provided extra blanket upon request.

Lovely B&B, definitely recommended

Ami Vine House is a great B&B, in a wonderful location. The staff are all kind, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast spread each morning, and the use of the pool in the afternoon. It was perfect to walk to the promenade and to local restaurants. There was lots of choice and although it was within 5 minutes walk, the accommodation was in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

Läget var mycket bra i SeaPoint, bra b&b enkel men tillräcklig varierad frukost ,trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra utgångsläge med uber till olika turistgrejer , det finns en mycket välsorterad mataffär som heter checkers på 5-10min.gångavstånd.

Om man ska gnälla lite så kunde man inte sitta och sola vid den lilla poolen....men vadå man är ju ute på turistgrejer hela dagarna.
