Portsmouth Apartment *Newly refurbished *Central

The location was great, walking distance to all attractions, close to a bus stop if you want to go further afield. Parking was easily arranged with the host. The apartment is clean and well furnished. The weather was warm during our stay but opening the windows / keeping blinds down meant it was still comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much apart from teas and coffees, but it seemed well equipped if you did want to cook yourselves. Wifi was good, plenty of plug sockets. Nice shower. Overall the apartment was really well maintained.

Its location is very handy walk to beach and the Spinnaker tower waterfront.

Would have loved a fan as it was very hot and was hard to ventilate the living area.

This property was very spacious and in a very central area of Portsmouth within walking distance to most attractions in Southsea. We were pleased that the owners accommodated on site parking.

Although the property was tidy and clean the facilities were a little outdated. I would think a bigger bed would have been nicer as a small double was a bit small. The bedroom was cold so a larger radiator or heater would have been nice. It took a while to start the heating and hot water because of the out dated facilities but generally it was ok. The shower isn’t very powerful but ok. The TV doesn’t have channels but accommodates netflix. The property is next door to a bar/restaurant so can be very loud outside until around midnight. It reminded me of my university accommodation when I went to Portsmouth university which was nostalgic. Also, bring your own toilet roll!
