A fantastic way to enjoy Portsmouth

Excellent location! You can walk to most places in Portsmouth within a small amount of time (5-15 minutes). Not only that, but the host made the process insanely smooth with perfect communication. The property itself was very clean, and the theme was beautiful. No issues with any defective equipment. Bed was a joy to sleep on.

The floor near the bathroom has a loud creek since the metal bar under the door isn’t tightened down entirely. Also, the tea kettle has loose grime and such from the kettle itself that sit in the water. Finally, the bar scene makes sleeping difficult some nights due to how loud and rambunctious they get. Multiple nights there were outside the front door yelling for hours.

Great flat ideal location very comfortable

Liked the location. I was attending SailGP competition and it was ideal location. Also nice walk to restaurants and local shops.

Only thing was the TV signal was not strong enough to make it possible to watch.

Over all a good stay!

Clean large apartment. I loved the navy theme! Great communication with the host. Just a small walk into town. I very much liked the apartment and would stay again.

The bed was very small but for me it was fine. The WI-FI was weak at times. There was a bit of street noise and the neighbours upstairs woke me up when stamping around late at night. The curtains were hanging off the curtain rail on one side in the bedroom. A fan in the apartment would have been nice.

Ok for a weekend

Close to the museums and hovercraft/seaside. Good amount of restaurants and bars in close proximity. The flat is renovated and not cluttered. A good amount of pots and pans in the kitchen - enough to cook something. Very clean. Optimal inside temperature (warm).

The bed is too small, we barely fit on it (we're both quite tall) and the mattress is definitely too soft. The bedroom is facing the street so earplugs are advised to sleep. Worlds tiniest sink in the bathroom.

A cosy, comfortable apartment that is well equipped. Nicely furnished with a home from home feel. Great location and within easy walking distance of Gunwharf, Southsea and Old Portsmouth, as well as to a number of pubs and restaurants. Helpful, Responsive hosts.

Cute apartment for a short stay but I wouldn’t want to stay longer.

Location was good. Central and close enough to walk to the beach and to the Quays. Apartment was cute and bath tub was excellent.

Wifi was poor, washing machines door was broken, only half a roll of toilet paper for four days. Bedroom was in the front of the house and street noice was quite loud at night. Couch was sat out and not comfortable.

Decent property and fairly priced. A little outdated and noisy at night

This property was very spacious and in a very central area of Portsmouth within walking distance to most attractions in Southsea. We were pleased that the owners accommodated on site parking.

Although the property was tidy and clean the facilities were a little outdated. I would think a bigger bed would have been nicer as a small double was a bit small. The bedroom was cold so a larger radiator or heater would have been nice. It took a while to start the heating and hot water because of the out dated facilities but generally it was ok. The shower isn’t very powerful but ok. The TV doesn’t have channels but accommodates netflix. The property is next door to a bar/restaurant so can be very loud outside until around midnight. It reminded me of my university accommodation when I went to Portsmouth university which was nostalgic. Also, bring your own toilet roll!
