Great location with fantastic recommendations provided by the host for the nearby pizza place and pasticceria, both fantastic!
The mezzanine level was very creaky so when one of us got up it was pretty loud

Great house all in all. Eugenio was perfect host. The atmosphere of staying in Palazzina Maresa and communicating about the project exceeded my expectations. It is a special house and you can feel to good care put into it. Location next to Porta Romana is very nice also, here you can avoid the tourist masses and focus on more real fiorentina life and ambience, but still it is close to everything. Thank you!
If you are light sleeper using earplugs is recommended in the ground floor. The street is not busy but you can hear garbage trucks and such when the city is waking up.
