Like home in Florence

Everything! This was our second stay at Palazzo Capponi, for a few days more than the first time. We love this apartment. Perfect location, it has everything you could want in it, and the staff are exceptional. I'm sure we'll be returning again.

Really wonderful.

Very central and convenient. The apartment on the top floor was perfect and with a wonderful view (they upgraded us from the ground floor to the top floor, really appreciated!)

I didn’t realise there was no daily housekeeping especially for the price paid. Everything else was great. The location is great and the staff is wonderful, very nice and helpful, I’d definitely go back

Unique property with AMAZING views.

Excellent location and the views from the two rooftop decks were amazing.

The flat we had is a bit chopped up, but that was noted in the description -- just took some getting used to.

Awesome stay in Florence

Our stay was beyond superior. The staff could not have do e anything more for us. You really need to experience Pala,zo Capponi alle Rovinate. The Palazzo is 1000+ years old with some of original work. Perfect easy location. We will be back. Bed was great, kitchen Perfect, bathroom good again can't say enough wonderful things. Florence was Our middle stop after Rome before Venice. Capponi was the top!mille grazie

Great staff on site to help out and give advice. Building has great history. Very large space and nicely updates for modern comfort.

Loved Florence and loved staying at this hotel!

Everything, we loved the history of the building, its location was awesome. Close to everything and amazing views over the Arno river, Ponte Vecchio bridge and the Uffuzi Gallery. The room had all we needed including and washing machine and iron facilities. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The A/C was soooo good on the hot days. The staff were super helpful & friendly

It was very central to sight see each day and close enough you could return if need be.Lots of beautiful bars and restaurants near by plus a great supermarket. Property was lovely and cool in very hot weather that we had. Absolutely loved our apartment.

Several basic items were not provided during our stay, including body wash, adequate toilet paper supply, and tissue papers. The cookware was also very limited, and the dishwasher was only a mini unit. While I understand this is an apartment rental rather than a hotel, guests still have reasonable expectations for basic hygiene amenities. If items like body wash aren’t provided, this should be clearly stated in the listing. The response that “it’s not a hotel” feels dismissive and suggests a lack of commitment to quality guest service. Basic bathroom essentials should be standard, regardless of accommodation type. I recommend either providing these items or clearly listing what guests need to bring themselves in the property description.

I would stay there again, now that I know what to expect. Close to supermarket and Ponte Vecchio.

Unbeatable, spectacular location in Florence, that's the best part. Also, a very comfortable living room and well supplied kitchenette and large fridge. A very clean unit.

There are almost no windows at all in this unit, which is rather jarring if you're not expecting it. The bed fell apart a couple times (we were able to fix it) and the bathroom is super tiny.

It was a fantastic location away from the noise and the hustle of the city but a mere two block walk away from the Ponte Vecchio. Easy to get in and out. Super clean little apartment. Comfortable bed. Great modern bathroom. Well appointed kitchen and living room. Well priced. This place was a home run for us.

The property was absolutely beautiful steeped in history.

I arrived and noted my wife was not arriving until night 2 and the staff member mentioned he will have to check with management that city tax is not paid for my wife for the first evening but the management advised that no my wife had to pay city tax for an evening she was not even in the city for. I found that a little petty and fact is legally she was not even in the city and eligible to pay tax for the evening.

Lovely stay. You really need to get dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner like most other places provide

Gorgeous old property well situated. Loved the furniture and bed and space. Loved the front door. Great recommendations for restaurants.

Why is Shower soap not provided ? It’s a simple thing. And 2 small shampoos provided and no conditioner. Again simple to provide. I managed to get the concierge before he knocked off and was given some silly sachets impossible to open.

Our stay at the palazzo added to the magic of Florence!

Communication about check-in was very good. The location is incredible! We had such lovely views of the Arno, Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi. Our apartment was quite large and had a well-equipped kitchen. It was lovely to stay in a historic palazzo. The doorman told us about a grocery store nearby which we used quite often.

The shower was a bit small, but we managed.

Exceptional historical building.

This was an extension of my stay. Exceptional truly. Very historic and just a short walk from all the major sights. Truly loved it. My wife was also very impressed - surprise stay for our anniversary. The two gentlemen on either days at the reception area were very nice to us, friendly and very polite. I hope to stay here again one day for a longer time.

An utterly wonderful experience staying there.

The building was a palace built in 1426. The public areas and our suite retained those features. We were staying in renaissance Florence in our hotel. Utterly magical.

The kitchen equipment was inadequate. An excellent Nespresso machine but only one espresso cup and saucer. No toaster. The microwave was absurdly old given they are so cheap to buy.

It was an amazing, historic venue. It also had a room to store luggage.

We arrived at a time that there was no staff available to check us in (lunch) so we had to wait around with our bags for a couple hours.

Fantastic location, walking distance to all the main tourist attractions, clean, lovely facilities and rooms, really liked the option for luggage storage so we could leave our bags post check in then come back to collect hassle free, we had a fantastic stay in Florence and would definitely be back and choose this property
