Wine Apartments Florence Prugnolo

The location was perfect, plenty of restaurants and close to main squares. It was easy to find, and worth the walk from the train station. The bed was comfortable, facilities were fantastic. My favourite part was the balcony overlooking the rooftop terraces and surrounding mountains. The hosts provided a delicious bottle of wine and we enjoyed it as the sun went down.

If you have heavy bags, there is no elevator so you do have to walk up five flights of stairs.

Excellent location, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for one person.

I am quite fit but for someone else the stair climb to the top with bags might be difficult.

L’emplacement est vraiment central et l’appartement est très agréable et propre. Le petit plus : son balcon. L’hôte est très réactif. Les escaliers ne m’ont pas dérangé ; quand on veut une belle vue, il faut faire un petit effort ☺️

Rien. Si je veux vraiment chipoter, un rouleau de papier toilette, c’est un peu juste ; un deuxième serait appréciable !

The bed was super comfortable & the Air Conditioner worked well in the bedroom..

Jesus.....the stairs. Omg. After hauling the baggage up flight after flight after flight, we could barely breathe. My husband didn't speak to me for a full day after that! He was so angry about what I had booked. Yikes! (They dont give you specifics until the day before arrival). So all the grand plans of cooking breakfast or meals to enjoy on the balcony ended before they began....as soon as we realised we'd have to haul groceries up, we realised it wasn't going to happen. And the whole reason we picked this place, was for that. Ugh, We're not old. We're in our 40s, but we found it really really rough. We stayed out all day rather than go up and down those god forsaken stairs. (We could only muster it once per day) There was no lounge area, and the A/C is only in the bedroom (although it worked well). It left the kitchen extremely warm. So we spent all time at the apartment holed up in one room. If you have mobility issues, or are not a marathon runner, I'd think twice about this one.
