Easy access to historical centre whilst being in a trendy area for night time eating & drinking

Location great for sightseeing & local area great for dining & drinks in evening. Modern, well equipped, warm & cosy.

The bathroom was a little small but, still worth it! Also I wish they had a shuttle service to get here from the main hotel, I would habe been more than happy to pay a fee. A bit of a walk but loved it

Perfect long weekend in Firenze

We phoned after arriving at the airport and arranged time to be met at the apartment. It was about 10mins walk from tram stop at main train station. The apartment was stunning, both bedrooms were big and at opposite ends of the apartment which helped with privacy when you wanted down time. The garden was lovely and imagine in drier weather it will be amazing to sit out there with a refreshing drink and enjoy some quiet. The apartment is about 15-20mins walk to centre of Florence but amazing restaurants very close by and we loved the area. Would definitely stay again on next trip to Florence.

There was only 1 shower in the apartment in the ensuite bathroom which with two couples was a bit awkward at times. The apartment was too hot and we struggled to work the heating so had too open the doors into the garden to keep things comfortable quite a lot. The bedroom without the ensuute was uncomfortably warm at times because of this. We didn't contact the hotel which we should have done so our issue.

Excellent stay with some improvements to make it superb!

The location was wonderful near sobrino gelateria, walking distance to a great bakery and lamprodoto and grocery store. Very comfortable as we were 4 people in the Portrait room. The only issue was that it was dark and the rooms needed more lighting

The rooms in the portrait suite were dark as mentioned in other reviews. Strongly suggest adding lighting especially for the master bedroom

Good for a short stay in Florence

The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. We liked the two level layout. We enjoyed the short walk across the Arno to the centre, and there are also some excellent restaurants in Oltrano.

There was air duct system that ran in the evenings that was very loud and many the building vibrate -- Sacchetti's Novella 202, the story about an inconsiderate neighbour who set up a weaving mill in an adjoining house, came to mind! Traffic noise from the road outside the bedroom was slightly abated by keeping windows closed and the time of day (busy in evenings and mornings).

Leave the busy tourist zone behind and stay in charming Olrarno

This was our third time staying at Oltrarno 1881 Apartments so it's become a second home for us whenever we visit Florence, All three apartments we've stayed in have been unique and tastefully designed. The location is a short walk or bus ride to the center of town with lots of restaurants and amenities nearby.

Perfect

I never really write reviews. But this one really deserves one. Our stay was a 10/10. It was clean, beautifully decorated, close to the city but not in the crowds and everything is within walking distance.I would recommend everyone to book this place and if I’m ever returning to Florence I will definitely stay here again!

A lovely apartment in Firenze

The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is in an excellent part of Firenze, away from the central tourist district but a short and beautiful walk to all major attractions.

There was absolutely nowhere to hang clothes except for a coat stand (with no coat hangers) and also no iron. The steamer provided was useless given the lack of coat hangers. While we appreciated the second bathroom we would have appreciated a closet and an iron and ironing board more.

Overpriced. Rude staff. Stylish but not functional.

Location was fine. Apartment very clean.

The attitude of the management staff. We were met at the apartment by a representative who didn’t appear to know his way round the apartment. He came across as a total comedic version of a vain Italian who can’t really be bothered in the first place - looking at past reviews, I think other guests have commented on what a plank he is. Going on from that, the apartment (Forest) looks very nice and very fashionable - however, it is definitely style over substance as everything seems to be in miniature (especially the toilets, sinks etc. We also found out that there’s not actually a wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes - not even a coat hanger. I requested coathangers which did not arrive and had to ask the cleaners doing other apartments for some the next day. On asking the management why there was no wardrobe (only a damp cupboard with shelves) I was told that a coat rack was their idea of a wardrobe and told (more or less) that the apartments were designed by a wonderful architect and couldn’t be modified. I was made to feel lucky that I was in such a fabulous place and that having no where to hang your clothes is some sort of style feature. There is a washing machine in the apartment but no where to hang damp clothes meaning we had clothes hanging off of shower screens, door handles, window shutters etc (BTW - no views unless you want to look at drainpipes etc). After several interactions with 6 different management staff, they managed to put a clothes rack in the apartment on our last day. I would share the various messages going back and forth between myself and the management but they threatened me with legal action if I did so. Have a look at the bad reviews before booking here as they’ll tell you everything you really need to know.

Customer service people, specifically a girl that forced us to walk all the way to another hotel to get the room keys and made it a big issue, destroying the whole experience. Although hotel management is giving the option to send you a person and do the check in at the apartment.

Great space for a family of four

Really loved the balcony and the decor was really tasteful. Loved the location - near a great ice cream shop and pizza restaurant. We are a family of four the apartment was a good size and well appointed space for us all. We really enjoyed staying there.

Sadly some of the handles on some of the kitchen cupboards were broken or missing. Also can we have a bin on the kitchen for next time!

A nice apartment but not for longer than a few nights.

Nice location away from the centre but still accessible on foot. Large apartment. Powerful A/C.

Lack of plug points in general but particularly next to the bed. Host wasn’t too pleasant when collecting key / checking in. Lack of towels if you are planning to stay 2/3 nights +. We had a window in the bedroom where you had to choose between closed (but light came completely through) or covered (but then let hot air in!

Lovely location with several restaurants close by. Bedrooms were both very comfortable, although be prepared for the toilet being in the bedroom in one. Very clean and high quality throughout.

Amazing stay in Florence

Best place I stayed in Italy so far. Treny decor. Suoer clean and loved that location was a bit away from the tourist crowds. Cafe bars pizza bakery all steps away. Loved it. Staff was very nice.

Overall ok, simple improvements would make it excellent.

The apartment was secure and modern. We liked the window shutters which when closed made the apartment very quiet. We also liked the modern contemporary decor however the apartment could do with a few amendments to increase its functionality, see comments below. The location was great.

The apartment was modern however at the expense of being functional. For example: 1-The lighting in the apartment was not bright enough. There were no overhead lights in the bedroom and only a hanging light in the sitting area. It was hard to see at night. 2- There were not enough cupboards/cabinets for storage or any shelves in the bathroom/bedroom. This made it difficult over a seven night stay. 3- The clothes steamer was difficult to use, just supply an iron and an ironing board so guests can iron their clothes properly. 4- There was no microwave which was inconvenient. 5- The little corner mirror in the small bathroom is useless. Just replace it with a larger one. 6- There were sesame seeds on the rug. It had not been properly cleaned. 7- The mirror in the main bathroom was too high the averaged person couldn’t see themselves.

The location is perfect!!! All new appliances and accessories. Loved the glassware and dishes. The moka pot was great! Super easy walk from the train station.

Very poor lighting. We had to keep shutters open at all times and that still wasn’t enough light. I read that in the reviews but thought how bad could it be? And it was almost laughable. But everything else was perfect so we were able to over look it.

Beautiful home away from home

Facility was secure, the unit was spacious and can comfortably fit a family of 4-6, and the unit aesthetic was austere yet cosy. We were checked in quickly and efficiently by Hotel Baglioni. The apartment location was perfect - just across the bridge and within short walking distance to the Florence city center.

Suggestions only: (1) Provide printed instructions on how to use the washing machine and where to dispose the trash (2) A mobile number of the apartment host that can be contacted via WhatsApp for assistance or questions (3) Consider giving complimentary trash bags for the trash bin in the bathrooms

A very stylish, clean and comfortable stay in a beautiful city!

We were met on arrival, no waiting around which was lovely after travelling! We were taken through everything we needed to know and given some great advice about the city. The dishwasher was broken but was disclosed to us on arrival and we were given some Italian goodies as good faith! The sitting area outside was a very nice touch as it gave us an outdoor space for a chill out ready for the evening, the lemon tree was beautiful.

The space in the bathrooms were very small, and the shelving above the sink/worktop was very low which we kept banging our heads on!

3 night stay in Florence

We loved staying in your apartments. The location was fabulous. Away from the bustling crowds, but still easy to walk to all the major attractions. The apartments are surrounded by a very vibrant restaurant and bar seen. We will definitely be back!

Very nice apartment in good neighborhood

Great location short walk to great restaurants and maybe 15 minutes to the train and Pitti Palace. 2nd bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom so nice privacy for 2 sets of adults. The only hangup I had was they told me they would meet us at the apartment to let us in, but then because our checkin was on Sunday and there was a mixup with their email address, by the time I got in touch with them early Sunday morning for a late afternoon checkout they refused to meet us at the apartment and instead made us go to their hotel by the train station after we’d already been sightseeing for a few hours and then we had to catch a bus out to the apartment. Not a huge deal but with all our luggage I would’ve preferred to avoid the extra trip, especially since I planned the day around checking in during the 3 or 4 hour window when they said they would meet us at the apartment. It turned out that if it wasn’t a Sunday check in, they could have done the online check in that morning, but on Sundays they don’t do that for you. They never did send me the remote check in instructions even after I asked them to. That was my only interaction with the staff. If you’re arriving on a Sunday, be sure to read their messages and if they don’t respond to your email, follow up

Really great!

Extremely well equipped, very comfortable and secure. It was within walking distance of central Florence and had many great restaurants nearby. The staff at the Grand Hotel Bagnioli were extremely helpful and efficient.

The windows... we could heard absolutely everything. They didn't insulate the outside sound well.

Magnificent stay

Everything was perfect! Smooth checkin at the Baglioni Hotel with staff there very efficient and helpful (you can also leave your baggage there before and after your stay). Spacious bright apartment, designer interiors and fittings. State of the art kitchen. Comfy beds. No issues with the noise from the restaurant downstairs (we were there during the low season though). Nice patisserie a short walk from the apartments, award winning pizza across the road. Easy walk to all attractions.

Nothing (would’ve been nice to have a coffee machine though).

Do not bother with this property.

Was greeted by Domenico which started cursing not realizing I understood some Italian. Continued being very condescending by counting 1 to 5 in Italian as we were staying for 5 nights; not necessary as I had already agreed to the 5 night's stay in Italian. Ceiling leaked on day 1. Management changed us to different apartment stating it was the exact same layout. Ended up walking up 28 steps every time I went to the bedroom and bathroom. Not same layout. Do not waste your time or money with this property.
