A good base for exploring Bologna and the region
Cosy and clean apartment, with a nice balcony and a great view over the city, which we enjoyed in the evenings. Just a 10-15 minute walk from the city center. The host was always available and very helpful. We had a great time and can recommend it.

We had a lovely city break in Bologna. We used the train to do day trips to Florence, Verona
This is a spacious apartment with very pleasing outlooks over gardens and with excellent views from the top terrace. After a busy day in the city, it is lovely to come back to the terrace for a glass of something. The terrace does not overlook the street so no people watching but you can see one of the two towers and it is so peaceful. The air-con was effective. The apartment is well equipped and clean.
The apartment is on the third floor and all those steps seem to go on forever! It is about a 20-min walk into the centre of town but the surrounding area also has its own restaurants and wine bars (one just across the road in fact) which are super and better priced than in the very centre.

Very comfortable stay i a clean and well located apartment.
Great location near historic city center. Very clean. The place has two bathrooms, each with a toilet. The terrace was wonderful. The kitchen is fully equiped and there is coffee to use, witch is very convenient at the beginning of the stay. The host is very responsive.

Our expectations were exceeded in this tranquil city apartment.
The apartment is at the top of the building, giving rise to light and airy rooms with views over the surrounding roofs and courtyards. Considering its physical proximity to the adjacent roads and streets, very little noise washes up and over the tiles to penetrate the windows or balcony. Occasionally we noticed aircraft on their final approach into Bologna (great if you use Flightradar24), but they are low in energy and the sound is soon gone. The iconic, hob-top espresso maker (aka "Coffee Machine" in the English version of the inventory) soon makes two delightful cups of coffee to start your day and the kitchen knives make sharp work of dinner.
Graffiti is ubiquitous in Bologna, be that on grand buildings or construction site hoardings, and it is no less so in and around the street in which the apartment stands, but don't be put off. Once the main door is closed behind you, a sense of calm should be felt by the time you have reached the top of the stairs (heart rate aside). The parking recommended by the host is good and worked well for us (booking online) and intending to leave the car there until we left (public transport is good, especially rail). Parking directly outside the property is probably a must for most, to transfer a multitude of belongings. This will be your first test at what is most likely, the end of hours of travel and well into that sugar-low, hangry part of the day. If you find a parking space near to the front door, great, you have prayed to the right figure in the universe. If not, be prepared to execute your already researched Plan B, taking note that Bolognese street access is a living thing and often smirks at the dry programming of expensive navigation systems.

Very different experience compared to other reviews.
Good location, nice view from the apartment.
We did not get the instructions until the last minute. I had to call the host via whatsapp to reach him. Almost no response from booking.com message. After getting the keys from lockbox, there are two doors next to each other without any label. When we asked the host which apartment to enter he responded as ''I don't know''. We had to wait a bit to hear some voices from one of the apartments and than entered the correct apartment. We could have tried to break someone's apartment. There are two bathrooms as stated but small one smells so bad nobody could use it. It makes the entire apartment smell including upstairs, so we paid extra for one bathroom apartment not two. Instead we could have booked a cheaper apartment with one bathroom. There were used toilet papers in both bathrooms not unused ones and they did not last long for two nights stay for four people. We had to purchase some from supermarket. Heater upstairs was not working so it was cold during night. Last but not least, if you have heavy luggage it is a challenge to carry 3 floors, keep in mind.
