Unique Luxury Bologna Penthouse with Frescoes and Charm

Beautiful building with frescoed ceilings. Very spacious layout. Location was very convenient and central. We walked everywhere. Supermarket nearby. Very responsive property manager, who was very obliging, prompt and efficient.

It was horrendously noisy. There is no airconditioning, and at night it was necessary to leave the windows open and run the fans. However that meant that noise from the street, (traffic, garbage trucks, partying students) was ever present. I have never stayed anywhere so loud. I felt like I was sleeping between 2 revving motorbikes for a week. Became hot, grumpy and sleep deprived. Kicking myself that I only read the English reviews, I should have translated the Russian review that mentioned this. Also the key/lock for the building door downstairs was faulty and we often spent 10 to 15 minutes waiting for someone else from the building to exit or arrive so we could access the building because we couldn't get the keys to work. This is no fault of the property manager and he tried his best to help us but not being able to reliably access the accommodation is a fatal flaw of the property. Lack of storage space. There are no cupboards drawers or shelves in any room, only a clothes rack and tiny bedsides. For 6 people staying for a week and paying a lot, I found it inconvenient and annoying to not have anywhere to place a suitcase, unpack into a drawer etc. For one night, ok, for a week, no.

Отличное место. Очень просторная квартира. Вид из окон просто потрясающий.

Достаточно шумно, тк это центр города. Главный недостаток, уверен, его быстро устранят - отсутствие утюга и гладильной доски.

Fabulous appartment in the heart of Bologna. Walk around & enjoy the dolce vita! We booked as family of 4 and the tennis table room was an absolute highlight too! We loved everything!
