Our favorite hotel in Durham. It’s close to the city center and especially convenient to the train station. We’ve stayed here more than once, so we 100% recommend it.

The breakfast was very good and the location was great. The staff were extremely friendly. The cleanliness was very good.
The rooms although very clean they needed a lot of tlc. Of the two bed side lamps one didn't work at all and the other constantly flickered. The bedding was clean but the beds definitely needed replacing. Quite a bit of mould in the bathroom. The kettle had to be placed on the floor to reach a plug socket. The evening meal was very nice once we got it but the service was a bit of a shambles. Had to take our order four times as they had run out of the meals we ordered.
