About this chalet rental
Contemporary chalet located in Switzerland at 1200 meters with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. On the edge of the forest, the chalet is extremely quiet and bright. Large panoramic terrace !! The west orientation gives it a privileged location to admire the unique sunsets that the region offers. Fifteen minutes by car from the shops and Lake Geneva.
The place is ideal for families and hikers - starting point for many beautiful hikes - mountain and nature lovers but also paragliders. The place is a very famous spot for paragliding. A few minutes walk from the chalet, you will find the warm alpine inn of Sonchaux which offers very good traditional cuisine.
Things to do in the area:
Hiking – Paragliding – Mountain biking – Swimming in Lake Geneva / 15 minutes from the chalet, many beaches (paddle, pedal boat) – Chillon Castle – Chaplin Museum in Vevey.
To recharge your batteries, the Lavey baths, a very beautiful place to relax.
Nearest ski resorts: Leysin / Morgins – Les Portes du Soleil (40 minutes)
Lots of activities for children. Apart from the mountain walks (you can access the Rocher de Naye from Caux by taking a picturesque little mountain cogwheel train), there is the Swiss Vapeur park, the Aquaparc, the Marécottes Zoo and swimming pool, etc...
In July, the very famous Montreux Jazz Festival is in full swing.
Possibility of organizing turnkey with a local professional discovery and sports activities (ski lessons, hiking, tandem paragliding, boat trips).
Practically: SBB station in Villeneuve 15 minutes from the chalet by car. Close to Montreux, Vevey, Lausanne... Direct connection from Geneva Airport.

Panoramic terrace + outdoor terrace on the edge of the forest facing the lake.
2 bedrooms (1 double bed & 2 twin beds), 1 bathroom, 2 toilets, ideal for 4 people, possible up to 5 people (benches in the living room).
The living/dining room – an open-plan main room – is equipped with a central insert fireplace, large comfortable benches and a large dining table for eight people.
Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, freezer, oven, induction hob).
Laundry/technical room with washing machine & internet router. Underfloor heating.
Small additional living room downstairs, adjoining the two bedrooms (with screen and DVD player).
Two outdoor parking spaces in front of the chalet and a small shed to store sports equipment or other.

First, the Landlady was very helpful, very nice and caring with everything.Tha house was clean and cosy, very friendly neighborhood. We loved it.The view from the Balcony looks like a postcard, magical place. We warmly recommend to everyone who love's nature and warm, cosy environments. If you love cheese , wine and French patisserie you should definitely visit.People are very nice and polite, lots of castles , hiking trails .We will definitely come back.

Best of all - the view is stunningly beautiful - this was the perfect place for us to relax and recharge during our trip. An amazing property - well stocked with kitchen utensils, nice sized rooms, one full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. Ursula communicates well and quickly. Highly recommended!
