As travelers, I rely on peoples reviews of properties to make my decision about where to stay. I can’t imagine how in the world people are rating this property as wonderful. The location is indeed wonderful, but there are problems. Number one is that the listing is disingenuous at best and dishonest at worst. Your only option is to choose “large double room”. What does that mean? Well, if you read reviews, sometimes you get just the bedroom and sometimes you get the bedroom and, at the other end of the hallway, a studio apartment which you can see in the photographs. It is in this studio apartment where you will find kitchen services, the balcony, a sofa or as the facilities state “a sitting room”. But if you also read peoples reviews, you’ll find out that it’s a crapshoot whether you get that or not and whether you have to “share” the kitchen, living room, washing machine. I understand that the gentleman who is the face of the accommodation seems to be living there when guests are not there. The double bed in the studio, which we did not need, had clearly been slept in with dirty sheets. He assured us though that the whole place was ours. But for $1000 for four nights, you should not have to play Russian roulette with whether you’re stuck in the bedroom for the entire stay. See pic of my confirmation. It says the size of Large Double Room is over 1000sq ft. Anything less is fraudulent. The beds are covered with a well worn poly sheet, no blanket. When we arrived we were told we cannot use the stove (“It’s not included in the rent”). Huh? I reserved an apartment with a kitchen! He also told us the washing machine was not included in the rent. I had to send him his own listing to tell him it was. No coffee maker. If you choose this place, get in writing what you’re paying for.
