I wasnt able to stay long enough to find out.
On arrival (it was dark) we discovered the boiler was broken. We contacted the relevant people, they were rude, unprofessional and down right awful. The cottage was that cold we could not stay even for our first night. I gave them plenty of time to sort the issue however because I was unable to accept a free night stay at another time the owner started to lie and say I had broken the boiler, even though she previously sent a message saying that it was broken and she thought it had been fixed. She then deleted the message and i have proof. The whole thing was very traumatic. I had to get me daughter back in the car and travel back home which was a long drive. Hopefully booking.com will refund our money as the cottage was not fit for purpose. There was also a fly in the fridge and the staircase is unsafe especially if you have disabilities like myself. Lots of pages from the guest book were torn out, im assuming they did not want anyone to see any bad reviews. There were also no spare pages for us to write any reviews either. Definitely avoid this cottage and probably the one next door as its the same awful people who run it. I have all the evidence I need so hopefully things will get sorted by booking.com and we can put this nightmare behind us. Also be aware that it says pets stay for free (i have proof) but after I contacted her about the broken boiler she tried to say i owed money for my 2 dogs. Even though I have proof there was no charge for pets. It also says free stay for my 14 yr old but she also tried to say I hadn't paid for my child. I paid the full £170 for 2 nights stay (paid at time of booking). The cottage was freezing especially without heating and hot water .......AVOID AVOID AVOID

The cottage had everything we needed at a great price and at short notice as we decided to stay here instead of camping for one night. We enjoyed using the fireplace to warm up after a cold winter day and the beds were very comfy. The water was very hot and a nice pressure.
The living room was cozy with the fireplace and quality TV. It was great that our dog was welcome and even water bowls provided.
There were useful amenites like a washing machine and lots of nice places to sit. The wifi was great.
If I had to nit-pick....these weren't really issues but things that could catch you out if you arrive on a saturday night without going shopping for example. This is a really impressive place to stay for the price so I expect to provide these things.
Tea and coffee offering was limited, a couple of tea bags/coffee/milk sachets, but glad it was there, provide your own if staying for more than a night.
Had to provide own fire wood/kindling (some places provide enough for 1 night). The wood we bought locally was very wet but luckily we had dry wood from home.
The hand soap in the bathroom was pretty empty and there was about 1.5 rolls of loo roll -again provide your own if staying with several people for more than a night.
Dogs have to stay downstairs and off the furniture- very reasonable but this didn't seem to be written on booking.com.
Some of the lamps (main bedroom and living room) the bulbs had blown.

Much bigger then anticipated. Very comfortable beds. Fabulous kitchen facilities. Great location, right by pub, shop and train station. A short walk down to beach. Absolutely loved the log burner.
Not much storage for clothes in main bedroom, no sky tv like advertised. That's it I think. It was practically perfect for us for a lazy weekend. Even a horrendous storm didn't take the shine off it.

Location, size of rooms, double bed comfy, fire great!
Was really good - very minor suggestion would be bathroom blind

Location was brilliant, quiet place, little shop, pub and cafe/bar within a couple of minutes walk.
Quaint, cosy and practical.
Nothing really, could do with a bit of TLC and a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath.
Personal preference.

The property was lovely in a good location.
Need more info where things are like the boiler, top of cooker takes ages to get warm. Notes to where the laundry bag was. Cleaner needs to give a good clean lots of spiders hanging in lounge by chair

We enjoyed the lovely walks, the little shop, pub & found the people friendly & helpful. The cottage had all we needed was clean & tidy.Enjoyed the extra touches like cake on arrival, lots of books ,games & leaflets of things to do & places to visit.
Can't think of anything.

I like Beds, kitchen facilities, heating system , shower and rooms were comfortable. Location was good too.
Towels were dirty and after complain I didn’t get any reply. No hand wash was in bath room or shower gel was provided. I visited apartments in different places and always included in self catering apartments.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean and tidy. The area was quiet and peaceful in a lovely village. Not far from the sea as well as beautiful mountains.

It was clean
the couches and chairs were uncomfortable and the twin beds were very low and no wardrobe space in the double bedroom also a blind would be good in the kitchen

The location was perfect, the beach at the end of Fairbourne was ideal for the dogs, a ten minute stroll from the cottage to the beach along side a beautiful mountain stream, we couldn’t ask for more. And having wi-fi in the cottage was great, can’t rate it highly enough.
Everything was perfect

Just the location was excellent, the house was full of character in all the best aspects, was such a cosy little quiet place in Wales. The village itself full of knitting bombers and it showed. A truly charming little place in every aspect of the word. The river nearby that guides you down to the beach was truly wonderful little addition.
That our stay was so short.
Only other thing I would say is if Stone Beaches aren't your thing, that would be the only drawback

The cottage was well equipped in the kitchen. Very cosy.
The bedrooms could go with some blackout blinds to help sleeping.

We had an amazing time....location for us was good, we had a car to get about, but also there's a local train station within walking distance.
The cleanliness was very poor, behind all doors there was dust or spider webs, and I had to wipe the door inside and outside of the fridge. We also smelled dog and found a big ball of dog hair in the lounge. I wanted to mop the kitchen floor but the mop wasn't worth using. I went out and purchased dettol spray to use on the worktops and toilet.

Stunning cottage, fabulous location, great facilities. Comfortable beds, slept well, everything you could wish for.
Nothing to dislike

The location was too far away from another place.
The cottage had not been cleaned well. We had to park where we could not get out of the car for hedges and then I banged and bruised my arm from very heavy metal bars dangling down near the door.We left the property a day early.

Lovely old cottage , a short walk to a wonderful beach . Situated in a small village with a shop and a great pub. Sea views but only upstairs looking to the right .
We did some really amazing walks, in this really beautiful part of Wales .
It’s a wonderful old cottage that’s in need of some TLC and a really good clean .
Bathroom and accessories are poor . For example the towels were clean but very musty smelling.
The small patio garden is lovely but needs a good tidy up , over grown and rubbish like scrap building material on the side .

Gorgeous location, quaint little cottage, good size, short walk from beautiful beach, pub, shop, peaceful, amazing sunsets, Wales beauty on the doorstep, the info leaflets, the guest book, good sized bedrooms.
Great value for money. The owner came out early the next morning after our first night to fix the door, change the bed and apologise with a bottle of prosecco for us. Dogs are welcome.
Incorrect blurb on listing, 'sea view' no it didn't 'recently renovated' when???
The dirty patio area I had to clean up as the cleaner hadn't. The dirty kitchen, extractor fan grease dripping into my pan of boiling potatoes! Attempted to wipe it then realised it needed a deep clean so gave up. The debris of food, hair and god knows what around the floor edge particularly around the bin and dishwasher, food splashes all up the wall next to the dishwasher, something brown, split down the opening door side of the fridge, general dirt and aged cobwebs covered in dust, disgusting nespresso machine that had not been cleaned internally, a botched door lock packed with cardboard to keep it in and secure that wouldn't lock, toothpaste pot with the previous guest's toothpaste spit in and over it, tremendous amounts of loose skin and pubic hair in the bed.

We loved how spacious the cottage was. It was very well equipped and well thought out to give guests a home from home experience. Extremely comfortable too.
In a pretty village with a welcoming pub within walking distance, this was a convenient location for exploring this lovely part of Wales.
Owners were very helpful an d quick to respond when we had a minor issue.
Parking in front of the cottage was very tight, particularly when a large vehicle parked in the space next to ours. Garden area wasn’t enclosed so not really suitable for our dog.
Bathroom could use an update, mouldy blind and rusty radiator.
Cottage didn’t seem to have been fully cleaned as there was a wet, used towel in the bathroom and litter in the bin in the spare room.

Comfy bed, slept well. Short walk to station.
Bathroom needs a refurb; rusty radiator, damaged bath, dripping taps. Definitley needs a grabrail in the bath/shower.
Steps from lounge to kitchen need light coloured edging, easy to miss steps.A small supply of firewood for the first night wouild be good. Tv difficult to turn on and then to turn off. Maybe that is just me. Nobody else has mentioned it. Lots of rules to follow. Hedge at side of parking area needs to be cut back because neighbour parks in that space too.
NO sea views. Not beachfront

Within easy reach of everything, beach, pub, shop and lots of walks and other places to visit. Cosy cottage.
Just needed a little bit of TLC.

Cake and pint of milk on arrival.Great location, very friendly locals. Pub served great food. Had pool table for young ones. Pebble finding in the village. Local shop really well stocked. Good park. Goats and donkeys to feed- all really friendly. Beach walk is lovely . Great views . Close to other locations. Comfortable beds . WiFi, parking spot. Patio area is a real sun trap
We couldn't lock the door from the inside, looks like this has been raised previously. Multiple bulbs blown including the landing one. The first 2 slots of toaster do not work. The extractor hood filter needs a clean . 4pm check in is a little late

Cosy cottage with welcome cake and milk tea sugar
Comfy bed
Loved the old beams and quirky un even floors
good shower though step into bath with no handrail
Local pub very welcoming and friendly
Not 'beach front' as described it's 10 mins walk following a little stream over train tracks
we were expecting some sea views but you're surrounded by other cottages
Wall around the oil container outside had collapsed and didn't look very welcoming
Door lock very tricky to open
Log burner but no logs supplied... empty baskets for logs and kindling local shop charged us £14
No blind or curtain at the kitchen window
Not blackout blind on velux in bedroom
Mold on blind in bathroom and window
Not obvious which were the bins for the cottage
Heating set to 17° but needed to be higher in December

Quirky little cottage, with beautiful walks to the beach close by! Plenty of character and super cosy! The fireplace is stunning and was the perfect spot to relax after a busy few weeks at work.. We loved our stay and hope to stay again soon 😊
The front door can be a little tricky to lock/unlock - but we got the hang of it..

Lovely village location, well equipped kitchen, good facilities for self catering.
The property already had guests who although their booking was mistakenly made for next year had been sent the access details, a booking.com issue I think.
Pets were not allowed upstairs but the stairs were open plan with no stair gate.
