A great base to come home to from exploring the Ticino region.

The location near the train station was fabulous, the view from the balcony was superb, the apartment was well equiped and comfortable.

The coffee machine had pods that we could not find in lugano( we stayed for 11 days), but there was also a french press, so we ended up using that.

It is indeed a little bit of paradise!

There is a beautiful view from the balcony northeast across the lake - we had all our meals around the table there. We mostly travelled by train - it was very convenient being so close to Paradiso station. It is about a 10-minute walk to the Migros supermarket and less than that down to the lake shore. The flat is quiet and we slept well.

The property has no washing machine. We could not find any laundrette/laundromat/laundry nearby so we hand-washed our clothes. There was no information given to us on the local area - it would have been very useful to have information on for example recycling facilities & grocery shopping.

Drab apartment with limited perks.

Keys were in a lock box.

The apartment is drab and decorated with old Ikea like furniture. The bed mattresses were like wood. We woke to ants on the kitchen counters every morning. The weather in Lugano changes abruptly. When we arrived it was hot. There is only a rickety fan which makes a lot of noise and kept us awake at night. The weather then got chilly and there were NO blankets. Just a sheet on the beds. There is NO parking for the apartment. Shame on us for not researching the parking situation in Lugano before we arrived. However, the host gives elaborate instructions on where to park, but fails to mention that you must obtain a parking permit first to park there. We arrived late at night to a foreign country so we had no idea and woke up to a $50 parking ticket. The only other parking, which is all pay parking and will cost approx $50 a day, is down the hill. Its a 10 minute walk uphill to get to the apartment. I will say, the view from the apartment is spectacular.

Bon, malgré tout, dans l’ensemble.

Le lieu, près de tout pour des excursions (train, magasin, bord du lac), la vue, le confort des lits, la disposition du studio, la modernité du séjour et certains équipements (cuisine/tv). La réactivité du personnel.

Certains appareils de cuisine (mauvais batteur, grille-pain). La douche manquait d’eau chaude la 1ère fois. Odeur d’humidité en entrant la 1ère fois (après avoir aéré, ok). Nettoyage pas 100% (poussières au sol), le personnel a proposé de suite un nettoyage supplémentaire. La condamnation de l’armoire à habits et une autre consacrée aux éléments de ménage..nous avions la place dans l’armoire propre sous le micro-ondes et les tiroirs du bureau (un peu bizarre). Ascenseur en panne le jour du départ avec les valises (4ème étage).

La cuisine est très bien équipée en ustensiles et appareils La résidence est calme et l’accès est très bien expliqué La localisation proche du centre et de la gare

Un peu plus d’ingrédients de base serait apprécié plutôt que des petits sachets (huile, poivre, pas de sel, aucune herbes ni épices) La mention « fitness » est un peu exagérée, un tapis et un peu plus de matériels seraient top (poids, élastiques…)
