Volledig huis met drie slaapkamers en twee douches.

We have self catered in Oban many times but this is our first time using this property. It is a semi detached house with three bedrooms which sleeps 5. Since there were only three of us we had plenty of space for comfort. The whole property was extremely spacious. The living room has Skyglass on the tv. The kitchen/dining area runs the width of the house downstairs and is very spacious with a back door leading to the garden. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer with a cold water dispenser, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a double oven, microwave, Nesspresso machine and airfryer. Downstairs there is a guest bathroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a double with an ensuite shower room, a twin room, a single room and a bathroom with a shower as part of the bath. There is a bench in the front garden and a table and chairs and a sandpit for children in the back garden. There is off road parking at the side of the house and if you do not want to use your car the bus stop into the centre of Oban is only a few minutes walk away. The next time we holiday in Oban this would be my first choice for booking.

A couple of minor points only. In the property booklet it might be nice to include a bus timetable and some taxi phone numbers and the kitchen maybe needs an oven glove.

The property is quite shabby, with dirty front door leading to hall and lounge with stained ceilings and walls. Some windows and doors do not close properly; insufficient mugs/cups; no plug in kitchen sink; a number of the drinking glasses were dirty; there was a lack of towels and those provided felt damp and musty. The whole property looks well used, is lacking maintenance and attention to detail. Sadly, the worst and most expensive holiday rental we have experienced.
