About this house rental

A welcoming family home, nestled amongst the trees in a quiet area of Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland, Westwood offers secluded tranquillity yet with easy access to the town centre..

Westwood is perfectly positioned in a private residential area just 20 minutes walk from Oban town centre, yet far enough away to enjoy your privacy, surrounded by trees within a large enclosed garden. Sheltered and south-facing with a sundeck to make the most of any sunshine. Westwood has three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a en-suite WC and there is also the main shower room all on the ground floor with easy access from outside. Set away from any busy roads, it has ample parking for multiple cars. The enclosed garden is mostly lawn surrounded by mature trees, bushes and shrubs with a natural stream running through it, to a patio area where guests can enjoy the best of the day. A gravel path leads from the driveway to raised decking which is also accessed via the master bedroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for a home away from home experience. The washing machine, tumble dryer & freezer are located in the garage, accessed from the kitchen.

A log burner is located in the living room, perfect for those colder nights.

A travel cot and high chair is available on request. Please let us know in advance of your arrival.

A bustling west coast harbour town, Oban has lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year. Central for touring Argyll and known as the Gateway to the Isles, with ferries leaving daily to many of islands, such as Mull, Iona, Staffa, Lismore. In keeping with its reputation as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, there are some excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs, for relaxing after a pleasant day out exploring all the wonderful scenery and interesting attractions which Argyll has to offer.
