AVOID !!! Not a safe place to STAY

This is not a safe place to stay. During the night, people around the property were openly using illegal drugs, which made the environment feel threatening and uncomfortable. I did not feel safe at all. The staff and property owner behaved very poorly. They took five days’ worth of my payment and promised multiple times that it would be refunded. That refund never happened. Instead, every day I was given a different excuse and a new story. There is no one physically present at the property if you need help. No reception, no support. The property is managed remotely, which makes the situation even worse when there is a serious issue. Overall, this was a very bad experience. I strongly advise others to avoid this property if they care about safety, honesty, and basic customer support.

Good value for money but very basic

I liked the price and the shower / toilet was clean and modern but low water pressure from shower head. Kitchen was great well equipped with free tea.

No tv in room. Bed was not the best to sleep on. No plis next to table to plug in the lamp on it. The online form was not easy to complete so I could not do it! The time part in particular was just a nightmare! The code on front door was not correct as per instructions. The location looked rather undesirable but otherwise was ok.

Had to find accommodation elsewhere. Accomodation access conditioned by fees/ card authorisation on top of booking.com/ already paid for priorly price for accommodation. Visa dispute initiated/ Court action compensation claim as seller refused refund.

I was disappointed with their delayed communication and unapologetic attitude. Would NOT recommend!

The door codes to access the flat did not work, and the contact number shared did not pick up when I tried calling (twice). I had to get another place to stay late in the night. When politely asked for a refund as I ended up not using the flat, they accused me of not following instructions carefully and proceeded to go silent. It was quite distressing for a lone traveller new to the city.

Hot stay in unwanted room.

Was warm, sometimes too warm. Clean.

The room was different from the booking (looks like from the same property tho). Instead 35m room with a bed and couch we got a 10m even without a chair. The sealing was leaking. The locker lost its screws. Unclear instructions (the room key is supposed to be provided, was asked for return. However there was no key). Run out of toiletries. Can't use a washing machine because you need a key.

The room had a foul smell. The beds were bad. Was not able to find the hotel with ease. Towels were not provided. The washroom had a issue that it does not drains the water properly. In nutshell, would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Scary

As a solo female this was a horrible experience, firstly as I arrived people were doing drugs, the code for the door didn’t work and I was waiting outside for about 15 minutes, some young man who lived nearby tried to help and said this happens all the time. once I got in the door to the room was locked and someone from inside (who he was I have no idea as he didn’t introduce himself or his relation to the property) had to find a key which took a while, he then instructed me to make sure the door was locked at all times, the walls were paper thin and I could hear the other guests, it was dirty, the bathroom which is shared was disgusting, and another guest was constantly in and out every 10 minutes or so. the pics are not similar to what was advertised and there was a strange smell. I just got a terrible vibe from the place and ended up having a panic attack and decided I had to leave immediately in an unfamiliar city, so ended up paying an extortionate amount for a last minute hotel booking. I’ve stayed at a lot of different places in a lot of different locations as a solo female and I’ve never felt so unsafe. The uber I got to leave told me I’d done the right thing and he wouldn’t have stayed there either. I know it’s non refundable but I don’t think it’s fair to have to pay for something not properly advertised. I do not recommend this place for any women travelling or those with children.

Black mold, and questionable sanitation didn’t make the experience worth the price.

I really liked the proximity to the city center, you can have pretty quick access to shopping centers. The toilet was at least kept clean.

There’s a large amount black mold on the corner of the ceiling, the fridge wasn’t really usable because it was already filled with other items from other people, the shower was clogged for most of my stay there (they fixed it on the last day) and so I showered with a lot of backfill from the drain. The power outlet is a legitimate fire hazard causing sparks upon using any electronics.

I would like to request a refund for the property. The exterior was surrounded by rubbish, one man was dragging a dirty mattress through the door adjacent, and another was smoking marijuana inside. I had to leave immediately with my teenage son and stay in a hotel.

Mouldy room. Immediately vacated. Avoid.

Firstly, the pictures on the listing are misleading - there are two different properties you can be assigned, and clearly I was not put in the one that they took those pictures in. I walked in to find that the room that I was supposed to occupy already had an occupant - they had clearly listed room 3 on their documentation, and somebody was in there and seemed to have been for some time. As such, I was forced to take room 2 - a room which upon inspection revealed a massive mould growth on the wall near the bed, stained curtains, and even mould on the ceiling! See photos. I spent one night there as I had no other option, and then immediately vacated the premises and did not return for nights 2 and 3 of my stay. I am currently pursuing a refund for this stay, as the conditions were completely not up to acceptable standards.

Room clean, kitchen clean and good variety of amenities. Washer, dryer, dishwasher,kettle,toaster,microwave Bathroom clean, albeit a little in need of an update. But clean and functional.

the room was of an acceptable size. shared bathroom but still quite clean. we were allowed in a little earlier at check-in.

it was written in the ad description that we would get a hair dryer but there wasn't one. we asked for it but they never brought it to us. communication not always easy, at the beginning we were flooded with automated messages without answering the real questions we were asking.

Awful place and rude landlord

The place was unclean and the landlord kicked us out after having one noise complaint which we addressed and kept the noise down immediately after. I find this disgusting for 4 young girls to be left in this situation in an area of Birmingham that felt unsafe.

Cleanliness and value for money. The landloard was able to help me with all my specific requirements (like secured work tools storage) and wnet an extra mile and let me use his privata TV login so me and my wife could watch our favourite TV series.
