Good quality and potential but in some aspects could be better .

The location and environment were definitely the best part of the stay.

There were lack of facilities such as forks, knives, towels… But the rest was okay

Just about bare able

Friendly owners

Advertising washing machine. It was broke and had been for some time. Bed was very unstable, oven not working kettle leaked coffee maker broke, curtain rail falling down one end , blinds didn’t properly open and close. Other tenants never cleaned the shared kitchen and took our milk . Very noisy above my room . Towels smelt of dogs could use them luckily I had my own. No bidet as advertised just a shower on the floor . Other than that it was ok. Does not warrant the name majestic just bog standard

Beautiful place

Its a nice place The environment is cool The staffs are very kind I also enjoyed the fact that I had access to kitchen I came with packs of food and I was able to warm and eat ..all together it was a lovely stay

My room was on the 2nd floor If I was informed earlier I would have saved my strength..it was very challenging to drag my bags upstairs

The location was ideal for my work and the price was very affordable and I would definitely stay again the bed was comfortable I had a good sleep

Don't stay here,

Nothing

The room smelt of cigarette smoke, no breakfast offered. The place looks like an unlicensed HMO, it has a lot of weird sticky stiff on the sockets. The bathroom is full of mould, the shower glass does not have a plastic strip on the bottom why is this important it soaks the standard floor of the bathroom so after a shower the whole floor is wet ans slippery. The front electric box is open to the elements, wall.socket missing a cover in the bottom hallway, no emergency exit signs or fire extinguishers. It did not feel as a home stay as there was no one there, the owners/managers don't live on the premises..I am a person who has seen a.lot of similarly shoddy properties like this, with no care for the letting standards that are laid down tryong to circumvent the law and gain some extra money. It is not untill you see the how to get the key on a.private estate do you realise this is not what it seems and as for location its no where near the center its a good 15min bus ride and the nearest aldi and other shops is a 10.minute walk. Also.i asked for a ground floor room, but no.i got a room.at the top of the house eg 2 floors up as I have to walk with a stick this was very painful. Very unhappy customer.

Unresolved problems

Check-in is easy, the location is about a 30-minute walk from the center, 20 from Villa Park, shops nearby, plus a historic pub (The Bartons Arms) across the road. Relatively quiet location. Wi-Fi more than decent.

I received a message that I couldn't check in before 6pm because there were problems with the cleaning staff. I didn't consider it a problem, as I arrived after 10pm. But when I arrived, I was unpleasantly surprised to find only the bed made. Otherwise, it was obvious that nothing had been done. There were towels from the guests before me in the bathroom, leftovers in the basket, etc. In addition, the light in the bathroom wasn't working and the shower wasn't working either. I sent the owners a message with all this and they promptly replied that someone would come urgently to solve the problem. I waited for more than an hour, until I fell asleep. I stayed 3 nights and no one came and I didn't receive any more messages. I used the shower in the shared bathroom, but that's not what I paid for. I don't like to leave this comment, as I'm not a picky person, but it seems normal to me that those who want to stay should know about this problem. Attention! The TV does not have a cable and can only be used if you connect it with your own phone.

Very Nice Stay In A Good Location

The room itself was very nicely furnished. The shower room was very nice as well, and the shared kitchen was also very clean as well. The room was also very quiet for the duration of my stay as well.

There was nothing particularly unlikeable about either my room, or the property itself.

A decent room and a nice venue and location, a couple of things did let it down sadly.

The couch in the room was superb. Very comfortable and immaculate. The room was comfortable, well made up and clean.

Getting into the property was difficult. I was sent four emails regarding the reservation and only one of them seemed to contain the keybox code. The youtube video, while certainly a good idea, wasn't entirely clear on where the location of the keybox was. The biggest problem by a country mile was the fact the skylight in the room had no blind and there was no obvious way of shutting the light out, meaning I was woken up at 8am on both days. This needs to be fixed please.
