Brilliant value for money Lodge in a good Holiday Park in the Yorkshire Dales.

Brilliant position within the Holiday Park. Well equipped and clean. Host quick to answer any queries. Would happily stay again.

A lovely warm home from home feel!!!

The Lodge was very clean throughout. Warm and comfortable. Angie was very accommodating when I wasn't able to gain access. And even more accommodating by allowing us a later exit than stated(Thanks Very Much). Everything was catered for from start to finish. The welcome hamper was also a lovely welcome touch. One of the most Home from Home stays we have experienced in a long time. Many thanks and look forward to revisiting!!!

Making the most of a bad situation due to nobody‘s fault, however not the holiday I intended

The property was lovely and had everything you needed and it was comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the property at its full advantage due to the park having a electric problem which meant the lodge had no electric so we had to move out so we were only there for two nights with everything working which should have been seven. The situation couldn’t have been helped and we just had to make the best of it having said that I would return to the lodge. It really is very nice and the location is good.

Fantastic property

A beautiful lodge in a great location. It had everything we needed for a week with the added bonus of passes for the onsite leisure facilities.

Stay very comfortable, but deck view and shade a big disappointment.

Property quiet, with good facilities - 2 restaurants and pool.

The property shows the lovely covered deck, but exaggerates the view which is mostly the cottage next door. Trimming some shrubbery or trees would greatly expand the view. No sun ever hits the deck.

Brilliant lodge

Very equipped with everything you need to use and more... bottle of wine and teabags and coffees on table in lounge on arrival. Games cupboard. Was brilliant find. Wildlife around was lovely. Free passes for leisure centre although unfortunately we didn't use due to circumstances , definitely recommend.

Relaxing lodge break.

Lovely stay, lovely lodge with everything you need. Good WiFi . Received instructions from owner before arrived so felt prepared and their telephone number if needed anything. Didn’t use on site facilities.

Bathroom was dark and had a damp dog smell.

Expectations not met

Location was good. The heating in the lodge was quick to come on. The water was nice and hot, beds were comfortable.

The key safe code was wrong, one showing on booking.com was an old one, when we arrived, we couldn't gain access. The furniture was tired and uncomfortable (settees), the dining table had a broken leg. The coffee table in the lounge had loose parts ( drawer knobs came off in your hand).The bathroom had a distinct damp odour, made moreover when the heating was on. There were cobwebs here and there and a dirty knife was left under the dining table.

Had a fantastic stay.

Loved the location. Had an amazing meal at the pub on Sunday night. Lots of lovely walks. Plenty of space in the lodge. My son came up to meet us from university and stayed one night. The dogs had a ball in the river.

Could not work out how to work the washer. Buit no big deal.

Cut fingernails on the floor in both kitchen and living room. Main bedroom too cramped. Confusing information about shower water heater.
