A lovely family break in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
The property had everything we needed to make our stay as pleasurable and comfortable as possible. All the rooms were bright, clean and spacious- particularly the open plan layout downstairs. The property owners were nearby and available for any immediate assistance where necessary however we were conscious not to disturb them too often. All the neighbours were very friendly. The cottage is in an excellent location with all the local amenities just a couple of minutes walk away: village shop, pubs, play area for the children, tea rooms and cafes. The onsite parking was really useful.

Cosy, comfortable and great location
A lovely property for a Christmas week away. Very very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and sofa (my criteria for selecting a cottage). Lots of games, DVD’s and books to keep you entertained when not visiting the local pubs or out walking! Lovely shower and always hot water available. Really appreciated that there was dishwasher tablets etc.
Don’t think there was anything I didn’t like. I did feel the need to clean the windows and I wish i had time to clean the grout in the shower (only cos those are things I’m a bit OCD about) and it took me a while to get to grips with the Nest system for the heating, but that was fairly intuitive and I didn’t need to get the instructions out. Neither of the night lights worked, and unfortunately the bulb in the extractor fan went at the start of the holiday. A king size bed in the main bedroom would be nice.

Everything else spot on, spacious Kitchen and bedrooms, very well equipped, great modern Shower room.
TV Unit quite dated and the Ariel reception was poor.
