About this house rental
This romantic thatched-roof house awaits you in an absolutely peaceful and idyllic setting in the picturesque little village of Preetz, a district of Lancken-Granitz, with only about 10 other houses.
The area is just as ideal for vacationers seeking peace and quiet as it is for active nature lovers. Beautiful biking and hiking trails allow you to explore this part of the island with the enchanting landscape of Mönchgut. Mönchgut is one of the highlights of any vacation on Rügen and is part of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve.
On the first floor, with its incredibly cozy open wooden beam ceiling, the spacious living and dining room takes center stage. It is furnished with comfortable seating, including a recliner, a large-screen smart TV, a DAB radio with Bluetooth, and a small selection of vacation reading material and games. Of course, there’s also free Wi-Fi. The wood-burning stove adds a touch of romance and cozy warmth. There’s plenty of firewood available, and it’s included.
The open kitchen is sure to delight any home cook. Not only does it look chic, but it’s also superbly equipped with a glass-ceramic stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster, as well as all the necessary cutlery and dishes. You can choose to dine at the large dining table in the living room or, weather permitting, on the covered breakfast terrace, where you can enjoy the morning sun.
On the first floor, there is also a hallway with a coat rack, a console table with a large mirror, a shower room/restroom, a pull-out sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), and an utility room with a free-to-use washing machine along with ironing and cleaning equipment.
A few steps up, in the attic, you’ll find your two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. You’ll sleep like a baby here. In the summer, a cool breeze from the nearby sea flows in through the windows—which can be opened as needed and are equipped with insect screens. Both bedrooms also feature an additional TV. Another shower room with toilet completes this floor.
On the well-maintained garden property, there is a sauna cabin available for free use and another terrace situated slightly higher up. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape—all the way to Granitz Hunting Lodge—from the comfortable XXL seating area.

The “Preetz 1A” vacation home can accommodate 1–6 people. Your well-behaved dog is also welcome upon prior notice and for a fee. Out of consideration for future guests, smoking is not permitted indoors.
Numerous attractive destinations and sights are nearby and can be reached quickly. All in all, this is an excellent starting point for all kinds of island activities and explorations.
