Quiet terrace

The nice and quiet terrasse and the comfortable bed. Not far from the center.

Some useful things were missing, like kitchen paper roll. A little noisy on the street side. Close to the center but down a hill, so a walk up to go. Cleaning was not perfect in the bathroom and the terrace. I forgot a belonging and never could get it back.

Perfect location for our stay to see family

Using a key code to enter made us feel very secure, not needing to carry keys with us.Parking space was ideal and area had sensor lights,perfect when returning in the dark.Balcony was great for the summer eve to have a drink.Flat was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a short break.Five min walk up hill to town.

Flat was on busy main road,very noisy at night,windows were not double glased which might of dulled the noise of traffic- ear plugs a must for light sleepers!

Good location and an enjoyable stay

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in apartment B, and it's a good little place in a fabulous location, just a few minutes from the town centre. Parking was so easy, right outside the building, and we liked the coded entry, and didn't mind the stairs! The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and everything was very clean and welcoming. We loved the Jack & Jill bathroom, apart from the niggle as mentioned below. The main flat area had almost everything we needed and it was a relief to find it nicely aired as there was a heatwave the week we stayed! The traffic noise was pretty high, but we did get used to it and it wasn't an issue overnight so we slept well. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and I would recommend a stay here, especially if a few key issues are resolved.

The seating definitely needs attention, as the sofa bed isn't comfortable to sit on, very hard after a while and unsupportive. It seems odd that this has been mentioned several times and not been changed as l'm sure overall ratings would improve. The folding chairs are very precarious, not particularly stable and as you pull the seat under you to shuffle forward, you risk trapping your fingers as the seat lifts up and then snaps back into position when you sit down. The light and fan coming on at night when you open the bathroom door is a bit distracting and does wake you up fully, so perhaps an off switch or timer for this would help?

Not for children

On strip of bars and local corner shops and nice clean double bed in both rooms

Stairs are very steep and windows are very low making it so dangerous for children you need to put locks on windows as children wake up before adults and can open these windows and fall out! Would have been nice to have a washing machine, could put it in the bathroom as there is room in there for one. Sofa is very hard

It was fine for our purposes.

Convenient

Noisy. The noise from the road was high and without secondary glazing I found sleep very difficult. We were disturbed by Traffic and people long into the night. I was in a single bed which I found very uncomfortable.

Great town center stay for families.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the center of town. Notably on a very steep hill, so not ideal if people struggle with mobility or exercise tolerance. The space was great for a young family with a baby, and the off street parking is perfect. The host was excellent and very attentive to a minor issue we had with the power. They responded within the hour and came out same day to fix it.

The place is pretty cold and noisy. Heaters are supplied and effective, but the noise is probably due to single glazing in a very busy part of town.

Well equipped flat, close to town centre and the train station

Conveniently located close to the station and the town centre this apartment has everything we needed for 2 nights stay. We found it very easy to get into apartment and communication with the hosts was seamless.

The beds could be more comfortable, but it’s the only criticism.

Town Centre Apartment

Location is excellent, being a short walk from the town centre and restaurants and pubs and a 10-15 min walk from the train station.

The property could do with a more comfortable sofa in the living area but otherwise the property is pretty faultless.....
