Enjoyable stay, would return to this accommodation for another stay.

Great communication from the Host. The property was very clean, well equipped and the location excellent. It was easy to find and parking is a real bonus in a city.

Only small point raised by my Husband, he felt the mattresses were too soft, but I guess this is personal preference.

Overall we had a good experience

The apartment was very clean, it smelt clean on entering, both bedrooms were warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was in a great position for the town.

The car park smelt like a urinal unfortunately. The stairwell leading to the apartment was dirty and didn’t give a good first impression.

Lovely flat, well worth a stay.

Lovely flat. Best one we've stayed in so far. Almost everywhere was extremely clean, except high level, the red glass chandelier in one of the bedrooms and the ceiling in the bathroom needed a dust. One of the touch bedroom lamps wouldn't come on, but that didn't really bother me. Beautiful furnishings. Loved the large TV on the living room wall. Pleasure to stay here. The location is good and the neighbours, whether they lived there or were staying like us were very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Could do with a plug in the sink in the kitchen or a wash up bowl for a few items if you don't want to put the dishwasher on, this would save on energy too. Four extra pillows rather than just two. Two of us had to improvise. Small things really!

Excellent apartment let down by bed settee and bedding cleanliness for this bed .

Bed settee not at all comfortable and the bedding in the wardrobe for bed had pillow cases that were marked, thin horrible quilt and black cover didn’t fee had obviously not been cleaned , real shame given how clean bedding was in bedrooms . Would have been perfect if you had used same standard and white bedding.

Nice flat, easy to find on google and access to property, need some attention but acceptable ro stay

dishwasher filter was dirty with hairs. Pillow had stain, didn’t want to check all of them… Probably cleaner left water bottle on bedside. Makes us confused is it the occupied flat already?

Good base for a few days

Spacious with good facilities and the parking area is easy to access. Check in was very quick and simple. Didn't spend much time during the day in the apartment but would have been comfortable had we done so.

Noisy area at night particularly in the main road facing bedroom, shower was difficult to get a good temp.

On very busy and noisy street. Woken very early by the traffic. Ghastly interior and pretty shabby communal stairwell. Basic shower. Felt Overpriced for what it is

Spacious apartment

Really nice property, clean, tidy, fresh and spacious. We appreciated the extra touches like tea/coffee and toothbrushes. Everything ran smoothly and we enjoyed our stay there, it’s in a great central location.

Great stay and great flat

The flat is big and comfortable, ideal for a family or group of friends. It comes with all necessary items, linens, towels, kitchenware. Position is 5/10 min from all attractions, shops, restaurants, nice pub right next to the apartment and bus stop is very close. Tony the owner was very fast in responding all request and available to help.

Central location

Apartment wasn't very well cleaned, also the coffee pods for the machine were moldy. A handrail for the bath / shower would be useful. The communal stairwell and halls could do with be repainted, entrance was a little scruffy.

Very comfy bed and parking in Central location. Very good comms with the owner.

Very noisy, kept awake till 12am and woken at 5am by traffic. Also strong smell of cigarettes.

Comfortable and well kept place

This was our second stay as we loved it so much the first time! We like the whole apartment and the owners think of details for the guests, such as towels and toiletries.

The only thing I didn’t like was the sponge in kitchen hadn’t been replaced. But most places don’t accommodate for things like that so wasn’t a problem.

Great place to stay 👌 👍

The living room and bedrooms were lovely and clean. It was easy access to town. I may have a few minor issues with things above, but these didn't affect our overall stay, which was very pleasant. We'll be booking here for our next visit to Colchester.

The kitchen needed a good clean. We couldn't use the oven as it smelt awful. We also put all the cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher before using it. The cupboards had out of date food in them, which could be removed. The bathroom just felt a bit unloved. The bath non-slip mat looked mucky, and the bath was chipped. I would suggest a shower was put in instead. It's much easier to keep clean.. I realise that the other tenants cooked quite potent, smelling foods, but airfresheners in every room are a little excessive.
