Not worth the money

Location is good

Really bad smell as soon as we got there and still there until the day we left didn’t check the previous reviews apparently the stench wasn’t a one off according to previous reviews very disappointing

A stressful holiday.

4 bedroom house with 2 free car parking spaces. Wifi throughout. A garden.

1 upstairs bathroom & toilet only. It wasn't that clean. We all had black feet walking around the house! Staff tone in replying to our texts when we pointed out various issues we had found in the house. Cleaners were sent but we still had black feet so had to buy slippers. Demanded for payment for 2 children despite the payment being already included in the booking fee. Demands were dropped once we had a screenshot of proof. We were reported to Booking.com for misconduct! It was stressful and not a good start for our holiday! Not enough bath towels and cutlery. We had to request. We did request to have 2 more fans as only 2 were in the house due to the extremely hot weather. Only 1 extra fan was provided. No shaver point in the bathroom. The house is outdated and the front door was difficult to open.

All in all the house was a great stay, secured with UPVC doors, renovated bathroom, kitchen equipped

The staff were very effective to every request, we met the property clean and organise. Comfy Resort, was brilliant, great value for money and great location, entire four bedroom house was clean and welcoming, beds were comfy and the shower was great , added bonuses with the tea and coffee, all in all the house was a great stay, secured with UPVC doors, renovated bathroom, kitchen well equipped, laundry easy and I would recommend it to anyone.

The sheds in the rear garden looks old.

Place needs a great deal of LTC, windows and doors far from secure. No pots & pans in the kitchen when we arrived but were supplied quickly

Good place to stay in Colchester

The location is good. The house itself is nice too. The host was very helpful and was always in touch when something was needed

Some of the facilities might be missing, but it can be requested from the host and they will bring it to you. However, this might take some time for them to bring it to you. Also, there were no enough plates and cutlery, no wardrobe anywhere (that were 6 of us staying) but should be okay for a short stay.

The staff speed of response is great, clean house, warm and comfortable beds

Great value for money. Well decorated, neat, simple and nice. All daily necessity available. Front private parking for three cars available for free. Secured and quiet residential neighbourhood. Bus stop just outside the property with direct link to City Centre, main train station.

The back garden had no chairs for now, but the management promised to have them soon. We were told to use the breakfast chairs in the kitchen s long s we bring them inside to avoid rain on them, that was cool.
