Clean, well equipped city centre apartment.

Lovely, clean and spacious apartment, with everything needed for a short stay. Contact with Tony the Host was very good, and he provided us with an extra parking space when asked. The apartment was ideal for an overnight stay visiting family as it is well situated for Colchester.

The Sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest for two adults.. but served us well for the one night. We were just happy to find an apartment that slept 6, so it was a minor issue.

Very comfortable apartment with super comfy beds and a helpful host

Location was great. The property had good accessibility for those who are less mobile. It was very clean with good facilities and lots of little extras too. Beds super comfy.

The fact that it didn’t have a walk in shower. Would be great to have that for less able guests. No dishcloth or plug for the sink. I couldn’t wash up by hand and had to run the dishwasher for a few bits which was a waste. I couldn’t wipe the table down either. Didn’t like the guests next door sitting right outside my door and bedroom window talking until late.

No problems apart from had to go and buy toilet roll..unless I missed where it was stored.

Spacious and clean and definitely workwhile staying for longer than just one evening.

Place was clean and tidy. The host responded to any enquiries very quickly. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in.

The location is on a main road, so as long you are a heavy sleeper then you will be fine.

Functional but could do with a bot more care

The layout of the flat was good. It is also sound proof. Amenities were also good (eg TV and entertainment, kitchen utensils)

A strong unpleasant smell was evident inside the flat despite the air fresheners. Stained bed linen (small bedroom), smelly wardrobe (small bedroom) and dirty windows, hair leftover (bathroom and bedrooms). Also, the freezer needs defrosting (to the extend that there was no room to put anything in there) and leftover from previous residents.

It suited our needs for our 1 night stay.

A good size. Obtaining the key from the key box was a very easy process and in a good position. Parking.

I booked the ground floor property well in advance of my trip. On the day of arrival and at which point I was already in Colchester I received a phone call from the owner/agent informing me that it had been double booked. The property is advertised on Booking.com and Airbnb. Alternative accommodation was offered which was on the 2nd Floor. Not very good for someone who may have mobility problems! Luckily for us we don’t. The man I spoke to was very apologetic about the whole situation but I do feel that if someone is advertising on various sites better control needs to be in place. The communal area could do with a makeover.

Excellent place to rest before the next leg of our trip with good food nearby.

Location to city centre, excellent Turkish and Indian Restaurants at the top of the hill. The host (Tony) makes great effort to look after us.

Unfortunately the property smells of stale cigarettes. Even with windows and the door open there was no way of airing the place. This could be a fantastic place with a complete re-paint/spruce up.

Ok but recommend you bring earplugs and fan

The living space was comfortable and the rooms fairly spacious and the provided amenities like the coffee, toothbrushes and shampoo we're a nice touch. The dedicated parking space was also very useful.

Due to the lack of double glazed windows and the proximity to the main road (and the oub next door) the noise level inside the apartment was so high that until the buses stopped at 2300 you could barely hear to think. Also because of the noise we were unable to have the windows open so the apartment was extremely hot.

The kettle was clean outside but needed cleaning inside ..the bathroom was excellent cleaned needed ventilation as the smell wasn't pleasant but not because wasnr cleaned but poor ventilation

Il y avait une machine à café Nespresso. C'était un bon café

Les cuillères et les fourchettes de la cuisine étaient tachées. Elles ont probablement été rangées dans le tiroir alors qu'elles étaient encore humides. Nous avons donc dû les laver avant de les utiliser. À part cela, tout le reste était en bon état.
