Location and decoration of the cottage was great the courtyard could have been swept lots of leaves but a great spot for coffee.
Cobwebs around the windows inside and out when you opened the windows.

Very clean. Well situated in Colchester. 15 minutes drive to Beth Chatto gardens.
Just add a colander for pasta/rice !

Beautifully presented home. Little touches made it cozy. We appreciated that fans were provided in the bedrooms.
Ideal location right by Castle Park in Colchester. It was perfect for our plans when we visited. We used it as a base and didn't spend much time in the property other than for sleeping, but the kitchen would have been fine for self catering.
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
No freezer - it was particularly hot during our visit and we had no where to keep ice - but really this is just a small thing.

Bedrooms where a nice size beds where very comfortable had a great sleep both nights the accommodation was a stone throw away from town that had everything you needed for a weekend stay kitchen was well equipped living room was cosy dinning room was perfect
