We had an excellent stay at this hotel in Thailand. The welcome was absolutely fantastic, and the team provided invaluable help on a daily basis, always with kindness and efficiency.
Scooters can be rented directly at the hotel, which is very convenient for getting around. The breakfasts are visually stunning — beautifully presented and colorful — though they consist only of fruit and rice.
The room was comfortable with a spacious bed, although it did transmit movement quite noticeably from one side to the other.
We enjoyed magnificent sunrises every morning from the bungalow terrace.
Overall, a wonderful experience that we highly recommend for the quality of the welcome and service.
The mattress transfers movement easily.

Le ménage devait être fait tout les 2 jours mais il a été fait tous les 3 jours par deux fois donc sur 6 nuits passées le bungalow a été netoyer 2 fois un peu juste quand même

From the moment we saw the property, and met the owner Pen, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay at Basnsuan Piyanan. The property is in a beautiful setting with views over the bay and forest/jungle. Every morning we sat on the terrace watching the beautiful sunrise and hearing the sounds of the morning bird chorus. We saw Hornbills, Kites, Eagles, sunbirds, Egrets, bluebirds and many more. Everyday by 8am we received the most magnificent, freshly prepared local breakfast. Everyday it was different with different fruits, sticky rice, roti and other things we didn’t know the name of but they were all very tasty.
We hired a scooter from Pen the owner and explored the island. It was very safe with very few cars so easy to get around.
Locally to the accommodation there are a few places to eat which were all very good, locally food and very reasonable priced.
It is a very quiet place so not the place to come if you are looking for lively night life. This suited us but may not be for everyone.
The accommodation itself was very comfortable with everything you need. There was a small kitchen with a microwave, kettle and toaster which was useful if you wanted to make a snack.
We loved it so much we will definitely return. Thank you Pen.
