Idyllic countryside setting in beautiful villas but still close to centre, shops and restaurants

Beautiful setting on the gorgeous island of Koh Yao Noi. The villas were fantastic and exceptional value for money. Great location near the centre which you can walk to in less than 15 mins. Feels idyllic set in the countryside Very helpful and friendly staff too

The bed was so comfortable! And the view of the sunset and water buffalo on the rice paddles was absolutely breathtaking, would recommend!

Very enjoyable stay would return if we were back.

Gardens were fabulous. Check in was great and a very warm welcome. They collected us from the pier free of charge and very promptly. Room was lovely and spacious. We loved the views out on the rice paddy fields. We rented a scooter for 250 baht for the day needed to explore the island.

Breakfast was basic and could be improved.

Stay here!

I loved the place! The view is stunning, Riccardo was very friendly and told us a lot. It's so quiet at night. You do need a scooter to get around but we asked for that and it was allready there. When we came back they even folded our clothes (they didn't have to do that but it was a nice ad-onn haha). Would highly recommend this place if you want to hang out and relax.

The breakfast came a bit late for us but we are early risers so they can't really help it since the cafe was closed for Renovation

Great facilities and lovely view

Lovely trip. Bed and room was massive, great bathroom and a lovely terrace with a view outside. Air con was really powerful, and the owner was very friendly and helped us with a taxi and renting a scooter. Only negative was that we had lots of ants, door needed a better seal. But in Thailand, there are bugs everywhere

Private bungalows with plunge pool and beautiful views but lacking finesse

The Rong Na villas have the most beautiful setting! Each detached bungalow has its own private plunge pool which over looks rice fields and is positioned so that it feels very separate from the others. The area is packed full of nature and we really enjoyed watching the water buffalo, birds and monitor lizards in the rice fields from the pool and through the large windows. The sunsets reflecting in the water in the fields were an absolute highlight for us, we just couldn’t believe how amazing they were!

The local nature does also make its way into the bungalows… especially in the bathrooms where the windows are essentially holes with wooden bars that pests can easily pass through. We also heard animal noises above the ceiling during the night, so if you are nervy or a light sleeper it might not be the place for you! The onsite restaurant has a lovely vibe but sadly wasn’t serving food during our visit which meant a 12 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. Like many resorts in Thailand the quality of the cleaning was below western expectations and we felt it let the place down.

Lovely complex with stunning views and very helpful staff!

Good location! Only a 5 minute ped ride to the market town. The property was beautiful and the complex was stunning , with beautiful views of the rice paddy fields! It was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was brought to our room which was also nice (fruit, mango sticky rice, cossiants, juice and water) there was also coffee in room and Netflix available on the tv.

Great location with a bit of a disappointment

The location and the view of the rice field is fantastic. We also rented some motorcycles at the villas and it was great. Breakfast is ok, but the same everyday.

Villas seem under-maintained and not properly cleaned. The pool and surroundings were very dirty, and because of that, we didn't use it. Also, the room wasn't properly cleaned, as we found dust and trash under the bed. There are a lot of cobwebs everywhere. Some are expected because of the nature around, but not that much. Bathroom would need some maintenance and cleaning. Generally, the place has great potential, but requires some maintenance and cleaning.

Manager was very rude when we arrived. There was a mix up with the pick up at the pier, and we apparently took someone else’s car. However I had spoke to him on what’sapp and on the phone just before to arrange this. He messed up, however he spent 10mins raising his voice at us over a mistake. Tainted our stay and didn’t make us feel welcome. Poor customer service.

upon arrival we were told card machine was not working and had to pay upfront in cash. staff in cafe were not that nice or helpful with anything. no house keeping and I wouldn’t classify it as a breakfast. also we were told they would organise a private taxi to the pier for us all it was was the owner and charged us a extra 300. we also rented a scooter and it was extremely dangerous no brakes bald tyers. wouldn’t recommend go to koh Yao instead

The location by the rice fields is amazing. Especially at morning when you can watch a cows walking around. Whole area is beautiful.

Great villas with view in a quiet location

Very beautiful place to stay in Koh Yao Noi if you are looking for quietness. Bungalows are great, with an amazing view on the countryside, with a big terrace and a lovely sunset view. Several restaurants 10min by walk. Don’t hesitate to contact the hotel to get information about how to go to Koh Yao Noi as the internet doesn’t have all the answers you could need, and be careful about boat transfer schedules (there are a few per day only!).

Breakfast is brought at your door every morning, but it’s a very basic and not really thai one: apart from the mango sticky rice which is great, you got (industrial?) croissant, instantaneous coffee and concentrated orange juice. We would have expected better quality regarding the price and the villas’ standing… Beaches are far from the hotel (20min by bike)

Excellent Unique Stay

We loved our stay here. Staff were helpful from when we arrived. Easy check in and room was a great size. The balcony outside the room was great with Sunloungers. We rented a scooter from the hotel and didn’t have to leave a passport to deposit which was good. Breakfast was good for 2 nights but would be repetitive if you stayed for longer. Location was good a 10 minute walk from the small town and 7/11.

The drains in the bathroom smelt and our fridge also smelt disgusting! There was also lots of spiders on the ceiling so high up but guess there isn’t much you can do about that!

Good location and close to the 7-11, the rest is easily reachable by scooter which you can rent at the hotel. Friendly and helpful owner and besides that a good restaurant next to the accommodation. Would recommend this accommodation.

If you don’t like snakes and other animals this place isn’t for you. I was in the hotel area less than five minutes when I saw brown maybe 2-3m long snake. DISGUSTING. Also what was minus is that the bathroom window is kinda open. You can’t close it and beacause of that anything can come in. We keeped the bathroom door closed the whole time. I needed to almost sleep one eye open for the whole nigt because of animals. I woke up and I had a spider on my belly. Maybe I’m too europian for this.

small luxury hidden gem.

we have been in Thailand 2 months and stayed in over 20 places and a few 5 stars. This is the best!!!!! Rik and his lovely wife are so helpful and kind. The view is out of this world. It is the most relaxing place to stay. we did not want to leave the decking area with our little pool at all. could have stayed there forever. breakfast delivered to your door is another wonderful touch. we can’t rate this hidden gem enough. just go, stay, please.
