Excellent location, spacious and modern

Lovely old building, apparently it used to be the old vicarage and is right next to a lovely old church that is now an excellent Italian restaurant. Very clean and furnished to a good quality. Very clean and modern Excellent location for everything in the city centre. Had to contact the host on arrival when I realised he hadn't sent the keycode details but he got straight back to us and was an excellent host. For the price and location I would definitely recommend this apartment.

There's a strong smell of stale tobacco when you walk in the living room, think it's from the sofa. The bed is squeaky and we found the pillows and mattress quite uncomfortable. Shower hose was broken which caused the water to change from boiling hot to cold. The ice box in the fridge needs defrosting so no room to store anything frozen and it didn't close properly, causing the ice to melt into the fridge. Those minor points aside, a lovely spacious apartment.

Great property in a great location.

Ideal location just a few minutes walk from the train station and into town. Lovely apartment, well fitted out and loved the touch of fizz and chocolates on arrival. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a city apartment.

A great week based in Carlisle in this comfortable spacious flat.

Perfect location for travelling by train - only 5 mins walk from station and plenty of options for days out by train. Surrounded by places to eat, drink and shop. Quite a busy road but still quiet inside flat and at night.

Found the lighting rather dim - us oldies need good lights to read by!! A bath and hand towel per person would be good and what we would expect in a holiday let and also at least one full toilet roll.

Fantastic Gem of an Apartment

Spacious apartment, great location. Lovely little touches with milk, cookies and a small bottle of prosecco. WiFi and alexa music easy to use. Overall very very good.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, I prefer a divan type bed, but no complaints overall.

Proximity to town is really good, relatively easy to find when coming from the north. Spacious, quiet, reasonably well equipped. Parking close by, supermarket, eating places, etc close by.

Comfy, spacious and good location

Spacious apartment in good location. Easy to find with lots of restaurants, bars and convenience stores nearby. Good communication with Joe. A washing machine which was handy for us with clothes rack for drying.

The apartment was perfectly located , very spacious & comfortable . Reasonably priced also.

The location was perfect for us as we were staying there as had a wedding at The Halston hotel( across the road )it was also a perfect location for the train station & the City centre . The host was very helpful & welcoming with tea ,coffee ,milk & some Prosecco . The apartment had good facilities.

We could not get the tele in living room to work but think it was just new batteries needed in remote & to be fair If we had been really bothered we could have made contact with the host as he had made it clear if we needed anything to call & we didn’t so not really a complaint just a comment. There wasn’t anything much else to say except more towels would have been nice as I like a bath towel & hand towel to wrap around my hair but there were only 2 bath towels .

Enjoyable stay pleasant surroundings will definitely book again.

Lovely clean spacious apartment well equipped if you were staying more than a weekend and wanted to cook, although we didn’t. Very thoughtful, left milk Prosecco and chocolates for our arrival. Very well situated with an easy reach of cafés bars and shops.

Excellent apartment

This is an excellent apartment situated in the heart of the city with shops, bars and several excellent restaurants within a very short walk. The apartment is spacious, and we found it clean and tidy on arrival. It has all the amenities that you would need for your stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The WiFi was perfect for us and the TV and audio offering is first class and is delivered via a ‘smart box’. A washing machine (not used) would be a bonus for some visitors. Joe was a very helpful host, responding quickly to any questions that we had, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We would highly recommend this apartment.

A great stay at a lovely apartment in Carlisle.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you Joe. We will deff be back again. The apartment is located in a quiet part of town. Not far from train and bus stations. Carlisle has a good shopping with lots of places to eat and drink. Also some heritage. The apartment is great very big and lovely to relax in very clean and has everything you need. The host Joe goes out of his way to make you feel at home he leaves a box of of chocs and some wine which are lovely. And if you need anything just give him a call and he will help you. If you are ever going to Carlisle try the apartment you will be so happy you did.

Honestly we both liked everything just wish we had been there for longer.

Overnight stay

Great location, lots of parking nearby. Even though it was on the main road, there was no road noise at night as the bedroom is at the back of the flat. Netflix on both TV's, the couch in the living room was nice and comfortable 👌

It could have been cleaner - the towels didn't smell fresh however they seemed to be clean. Some cobwebs in corners and on lampshades, but the flat was clean in general. Metal bed frame is a bit squeaky, but not uncomfortable.

Spacious. Comfortable seating. Airy. Well positioned for parking and local restaurants. Very recent decor. Brilliant for an overnight stop on a longer journey.

A moveable coffee table would have been useful, for cups or glasses while relaxing on the sofa, or watching television.
