Lovely old building, apparently it used to be the old vicarage and is right next to a lovely old church that is now an excellent Italian restaurant. Very clean and furnished to a good quality. Very clean and modern Excellent location for everything in the city centre. Had to contact the host on arrival when I realised he hadn't sent the keycode details but he got straight back to us and was an excellent host. For the price and location I would definitely recommend this apartment.
There's a strong smell of stale tobacco when you walk in the living room, think it's from the sofa. The bed is squeaky and we found the pillows and mattress quite uncomfortable. Shower hose was broken which caused the water to change from boiling hot to cold. The ice box in the fridge needs defrosting so no room to store anything frozen and it didn't close properly, causing the ice to melt into the fridge.
Those minor points aside, a lovely spacious apartment.

Ideal location just a few minutes walk from the train station and into town. Lovely apartment, well fitted out and loved the touch of fizz and chocolates on arrival. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a city apartment.

Perfect location for travelling by train - only 5 mins walk from station and plenty of options for days out by train. Surrounded by places to eat, drink and shop. Quite a busy road but still quiet inside flat and at night.
Found the lighting rather dim - us oldies need good lights to read by!! A bath and hand towel per person would be good and what we would expect in a holiday let and also at least one full toilet roll.
