We really enjoyed the outdoor facilities , kitchen and tables near the pool.The place is set up for comfort and interaction with other travelers.Tony has worked hard to create a welcoming relaxed, trusting environment and it works well for our style of travel. We made some great connections with others, over the communal breakfast table too.

A peacful, beatiful and home-like place to stay

Staying at Zandoyo truly felt like a home away from home. Tony is an incredibly thoughtful host and takes great care of his guests, and the breakfast he prepares deserves a review of its own. I also loved the location: close to some of the most beautiful beaches, yet set in a quiet residential area. And if you want options, there are plenty of great restaurants just around the corner. I was very happy with my stay and would love to come back.

Super nice, clean house with five rooms so it never feels crowded. Tony the owner is very welcoming and helpful and make with his staff a great breakfast every morning. It’s a very safe area so you always feel comfortable. It’s an outdoor kitchen with a fridge so you can make your own food if you want and also a nice pool. I could recommend this place over and over again. It’s the best for a relaxing vacation.

Hotel Zandoyo provided the perfect finish to our extended family trip to Mexico City and Puerto Escondido. It's an easy walk to restaurants and shops and beaches a bit further on. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the common areas--from the breakfast room to the pool--were inviting with unexpected details and touches to make everything that much more welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Tony is the perfect host, communicative and relaxed with a wealth of information about the area, and he and Sol offer fabulous breakfasts. I hated to leave and would love to return.

Has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation, would stay again.

Amazing in every way! Perfect location, only 10 minute walk away from a couple of the beaches and several restaurants, A/C unit, super nice pool + hammock area to relax and unwind. Tony is awesome and helped us book a dolphin watching tour with an agency that picked us up from the front door of the hotel, plus answered any questions we needed to help us get around town. Also a big shoutout to Sol who makes homemade breakfast every morning that’s included with your stay and it’s always so good, honestly the best food we’ve had at Puerto Escondido.

Friendly, homely stay in Puerto Escondido!

My favourite stay in my 2 weeks trip to Mexico! Tony and Sol are very welcoming hosts and made exceptional breakfasts which were different every morning. The property has a friendly social vibe to it, guests have breakfast together at 9am everyday so it is a nice way to meet people. The pool is very clean and there is plenty of outdoor loungers and chairs for everyone to enjoy. There is AC in the rooms, beach towels provided, a water dispenser. Location is great, less than 15 mins walk to at least 5 different beaches, a few minutes to the main strip of restaurants and they helped to book guests taxis if you wanted to go further. Really lovely place, would recommend it to anyone visiting puerto Escondido!!

Perfect stay in Puerto Escondido

Zandoyo was a haven in Puerto Escondido, close enough to restaurants, cafes and the beaches, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The breakfasts were a pleasure to wake up to each day, including the weekends, which was a treat. The pool and general environs are very welcoming, and Tony and Cesar are perfect hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We felt like family guests, rather than strangers. I would totally recommend them to any traveller. Also, the lovely French bakery, Panorama, is easy walking distance, get there early for the most choice.

Our stay at Zandoyo Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of amazing. The room is more specious than they look in the pictures. Everything in the decoration was thought through. But what we liked the most was the breakfast. They served a different breakfast everyday and all the meals were PERFECTION! Shout out to Tony for making us feel welcomed and at home.

The place is small and cosy, very private with only 5 rooms, and feels like staying at home! The hosts are great, very nice and happy to help with any small request. The breakfast is amazing, something new every day and will keep you fed well during the day. The location is in Puerto Escondido itself, in the quiet part of town, away from the tourist and party action in Zicatela. Overall, a great place to stay!

Perfection- I loved my stay.

I loved staying here. The pool was just heavenly and Tony’s breakfasts were wonderful. I had the tiny room but it was very comfortable and perfectly good for a solo traveler. If there was an extra small table near the basin for cosmetics I would have happily stayed in the tiny room for months. Both Tony and César were exceptionally helpful and I can’t thank them enough for their kindness. I can’t recommend their B &B enough. Book and enjoy- you won’t regret it.

Our stay at Tony’s place exceeded all expectations. His home is a true oasis. The outdoor lounge area, complete with a large pool, full outdoor kitchen, and lush garden, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. We also loved the delicious daily breakfast (including weekends now!) and the chance to connect with other guests from around the world. Cesar, the manager, was incredibly helpful both before and during our visit, ensuring everything went smoothly. Our stay went by way too quickly, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This is a small privately run hotel. Tony was very welcoming and served up a delicious breakfast each morning. We especially liked the pool area, a lovely place to relax, especially as we'd been travelling for a while. It was in a very good location, an easy walk to the restaurants and beaches nearby.

A home away from home in Puerto Escondido.

Everything was wonderful about Zandoyo! The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were fantastic. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well designed with lots of space to put things. The pool area had lovely landscaping and the guest kitchen was quite well supplied if you wanted to prepare a meal. I highly recommend a stay here if you venture to Puerto Escondido!!

Would definitely stay there again when going back to Puerto Escondido

Tony and his wife were super hosts the pictures don’t do it justice. Very relaxing and served us a good breakfast mornings Monday thru Friday. The pool area was always nice looking and well taken care of and felt like we were in the tropics with the flowers and trees. It felt like home we were very comfortable there. The rooms were very nice and had bathroom with shower and towels for both showering and pool. They have a kitchen area near the pool area. They have a nice palapa on top that you can see the stars.

Wonderful stay in Puerto, a true vacation!

I loved my stay at Zandoyo. I loved that there was a communal feel yet an extremely private, calm, and relaxing environment. Each day started out with a wonderful breakfast of different creative Mexican dishes made with love. I was there for both work and vacation, and highly recommend for either/both. Extremely comfortable room, lovely pool, strong wifi, good showers, and awesome kitchen to cook in. Loved my stay and left feeling refreshed. Tony and Mane were nothing but hospitable, kind, flexible, and attentive to all guests. Thank you!! Hope to return one day

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en este bed and breakfast. Todos fueron súper amables y serviciales, tanto el personal como los otros huéspedes. El desayuno se sirve a las 9, lo cual crea un ambiente muy agradable para convivir y compartir con quienes se hospedan, algo que realmente hizo la experiencia más especial. Cabe destacar que el desayuno estaba delicioso y además fueron muy considerados con mis restricciones alimenticias, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. El lugar es muy tranquilo y relajante, perfecto para descansar. La cama es súper cómoda, la limpieza de los cuartos es muy buena y en general todo está muy bien cuidado. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí ✨.
