I wish I was still there!!!!

Fantastic location with excellent amenities! The rental was exceptionally clean, smelled amazing, and was well stocked with necessities/goodies. All appliances and cleaning tools worked as intended ( they provided a Dyson fan to help regulate temperature in the master bedroom😍). My Hosts communicated the entry details ahead of my scheduled arrival, which was greatly appreciated- and the care my hosts placed into this property made it feel like home away from home!

A real gem of a flat/apartment 10/10

What a gem, great location and very highly presented with everything you need, we couldn’t fault it to be honest and we’ve stayed in a lot of apartment/flats. It has everything you need for a couple of nights or a couple months away! Very comfy beds, linen and settee, lovey large shower bath that worked a treat, streaming tv In the main room and double bedroom which was a plus. Lovey arrival basket of goodies were cracking quality and a real treat. We will definitely be rebooking when we stay in Filey again.

Absolutely fabulous !!!!!!!

Just wanted to let you know how wonderful we found our stay. We are foster carers and get little time to ourselves. We had a really relaxing time doing nothing much but this is great if you’re on the go all the time with children. Filey is a childhood place for me as I spent most of my summers there as a child. Janet my wife comes from Whitby and obviously never visited Filey. We have traveled the country and stayed in some lovely places and some hovels but this place has to be one of the nicest if not the nicest. Well done !!!!!!!!!

Absolutely nothing can’t fault it. It has everything you need for young and old alike. 11 out of 10 it’s 7* all the way.

Highly recommended place to stay.

We like the ambience of the place. Nicola and Tom are really accomodating. We appreciate the welcome basket xx. Our 5 year old autistic child loves the place as well. We had an amazing stay, everything we needed was there. The location is perfect too, it is near the shops and just a 10min walk to the beach. Will definitely book again when we travel back to Filey and also will highly recommend this place to our friends.

Beautiful apartment and marvellous weather.

The property is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and convenient for the town and the beach. The welcome basket is a lovely addition.

This is our second visit, and the price has risen quite considerably since last year, although it is still reasonable value, hopefully it will not continue to rise in price so much.

Perfect family get away

Fabulous little flat, perfect for a small family/couple. Everything was thought about amenities wise. Lovely calming decor and just a 5 min walk from the beach/shops. And thank you for the lovely welcome basket, very useful with two small children to feed!

Perfect self catering apartment close to Filey centre - Loved it

We absolutely loved the apartment, it had everything we needed and more, loved the decor. The bed and pillows were top notch. The Kitchen-Dining-living room was a great space to be in lovely and light - double aspect windows. There were just the two of us but with the second twin bedded bedroom the apartment would be ideal for young families. The Hosts have kindly provided board games, games console & games, puzzles, DVDs to entertain guests. I also love being able to watch ITVX advert free! and the artwork app on the TVs. We were mainly down in Yorkshire to visit RSPB Bempton, but enjoyed visits to North Landing ( a nice place to swim), Bridlington & Scarborough. We also visited the Scarborough Fair Collection & Vintage Transport Museum which is just outside Filey, the vintage fairground rides are run in turns and are either a £1 or £2 for a bumper car, good fun. In the really well put together guest information folder the Piebald Inn was recommended - it has 52 pies on its menu. The Inn itself is a little worn but the pies were delicious, we hadn't eaten since breakfast so managed to eat ours but our friends did have to resort to a doggy bag. Thank you Nicola & Tom for a great stay - we will be back.

Perfect weekend away in lovely Filey

Probably one of the nicest apartments I have ever stay in. Immaculate inside and with high quality appliances and products throughout. Brilliant communication from the owners. Great having keyless entry! No need to worry about taking keys out with you and if more than one person is staying you can all get in and out easily! Parked for free a couple of minutes walk away which didn't bother me. Town centre is on the doorstep as is the train/bus station.

There is a bit of noise from the pub across the road so if you sleep in the double room I would suggest earplugs if you go to bed early. Or sleep in the twin room at the back. It did not bother me though. You can people watch from the lounge window.

Fantastic value, superbly equipped, and belting location

It is such a comfortable apartment in a super location that is really well equipped, and the owners have really thought about the detail, including a really generous welcome hamper that inclued bread, butter, prosecco, crisps, chocolates, biscuits and mince pies!! Brilliant! Thank you!! 2 good sized, comfortable warm bedrooms, with spare pillows, bedding etc, an excellent shower and bathroom, with shampoos, soap etc and evem loo rolls all eco friendly products. The kitchen is really well equipped, the best we've seen, if you do want to cook and have family meals in there. All new and clean also. There is also a plethora of books, games, dvds, a PS4 and free view TV in a comfy lounge area. The apartment is 5 mins walk around the corner to a few of Fileys central streets, with enough coffee shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops and a couple more minutes down to the beach. As it was January and out of season, we were able to find a parking spot on the corner cross from the apartment, which was great. The communication and instructions from the owners were spot on and easy to follow, as was the detailed welcome brochure inside. Would certainly book again next time in Filey and great value, and haven't tried to overprice like any others do!

A luxury stay

The property was absolutely stunning. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The apartment was decorated to the highest quality and was luxurious. The beds were super comfortable and all the rooms were warm and cosy. When we opened the kitchen/living room we were met with a basket full of wonderful treats and a balloon wishing us a happy anniversary. It was truly magical and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Lovely place- beautifully decorated. I had such a lovely time that while I was there I booked another stay for a few weeks later. Hosts were very prompt at responding to communication.

Only one slight issue was that the kettle needed cleaning inside, as had lots of limescale build-up, but that was only a minor thing- not a big deal really.

Home from home.

The location and ease of access, the property was clean and had instructions for everything inside, it was a perfect place just like home from home. All the shops restaurants and pubs were within walking distance, was able to park my car across from the property, I’d fully recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

It was an old building with a lot of charm but was modernised to a very high standard. It somehow managed to be cozy but spacious and the infomation provide at the accommodation was so thorough it was not necessary to have any contact with the owners. Great for checking in and out. The welcome basket was spectacularly generous and completely unexpected. Would go back tomorrow, I could happily live there and recommend wholeheartedly

Filey und sein Strand sind sehr schön, die Unterkunft liegt günstig zu Bahnhof Strand und Old Town Restaurants.

Die Einrichtung war schön und gemütlich und in der Küche und auch im Bad sowie im Schlafzimmer war alles, was man brauchte, vorhanden. Besonders nett war auch der Willkommens Korb und alles, was man für die ersten Tage brauchte (Kaffee, Butter und Milch sowie Toast, Zucker und Kekse und Chips😎🥳, sogar eine Flasche Freixenet!!) Die Betten waren bequem, und die Einrichtung wirkte fast neu. Nicht zu vergessen die tolle Mediensammlung, Spielesammlung, PlayStation und Bluetooth Lautsprecher.

Es war alles top!!!
