Immaculately presented, very clean, excellent facilities and fab location.

Not having a grab rail on the top of the stairs was a bit tricky when carrying bags etc.

Clean and all needs accounted for . Ie air dryer and straighteners , air fryer , cafe machine .

I know properties like this were built this way but I was nt keen on The down stairs shower toilet Room . It was a lovely clean room with new furnishings . I would have liked to know in advance . I didn’t see it mentioned on the web site . But having said that, I would stay again and recommend the property .

Fabulous property finished to a very high spec. Loved it

The only thing I could recommend is a mirror on the wall in the twin room.

Would book again

Location was perfect. We were visiting for the Filey Kite Festival. We also have family in both Scarborough and Whitby so it was a really central location for us. The Cottage is beautiful. Really clean and well taken care of. Home from home with everything you need. Would definitely book again for future visits.

The only criticism we have was the door to the livingroom doesn't latch shut properly so we couldn't keep our young toddler contained when relaxing in the evening. I would also have liked to have had access to a clothes airer to drying wet clothes from the beach. We didn't want to hang on the radiators and doors in case it ruined the pain work. But these are just small personal preferences.

Really enjoyed our us but it really was cosy and nice.

Beautifully set up, everything you need. All new and exceptionally clean.

No ling handled bush and pan to sweep the kitchen - even after 2 days there was a build up of gritty sand - bought one to lift the sand. The stairs were steep but the steps into the bedrooms were tricky to navigate. The front door handle was really hard to lift and lock the door. Welcomed it being dog friendly but no garden to let dog out for a wee - had to walk down to the end of the street. Bathroom downstairs so middle of the night visits were a pain!

Stayed for two nights. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Very clean. Cosy. Easy access and great communication with host. Beds were comfy. Lots of tv options (Netflix/disney+/sky) Parking outside or close by. Air fryer, nespresso machine (although you will need to take pods), tea and coffee. It’s small but enough space for four of us and our little dog! Had a couple of really nice days and would recommend to others!

Nowhere to empty rubbish bin (as the outside bin was over full) No washing up liquid. No toilet roll. (Although it wasn’t a major issue for us as tesco was close by)

It was clean and Cosy. The beds were comfortable. Car parking was easy. Easy to walk to the beach and town . The kitchen was well equipped

The stairs could be challenging for some people especially to go the downstairs bathroom .

Short break in Filey

The property was finished to a lovely standard and was like new , there was everything you needed for a short break . It is in a great location with everything you need on your doorstep

It would have been nice if there was an upstairs WC and the property had a strange musky smell

Really nice cottage.

Spacious for a family of three. Very clean. Lots of basic things available - pizza cutter, air-frier, etc. shower was gorgeous nice powerful spray.

Only toilet was downstairs.

Lovely little cottage close to the beach.

The host clearly thought about families and had lovely selection of books, games and cutlery available for all ages of children.

Parking was a bit of a challenge given it was very busy so we couldn’t get near the property and had to walk a distance with baggage etc but I can’t really blame the host for that.

Lovely weekend away, great location.

Great location, very clean, lots of little added extra touches which were very appreciated such as tea, coffee, pods for the coffee machine.

Could have done with a washing up bowl and more than 1 toilet roll for a 3 night stay for 4 people.

Perfect Little Stay

Beautiful little cottage in a great location. The property was spotless and very well equipped with toiletries, towels and cleaning supplies. Parking was free and right outside the property. It was a short walk to local shops, restaurants, pubs and beach which meant we didn’t need the car for the duration of our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and nicely done out

Very small looked larger on the pictures,only a tiny area out the back which we had dogs so wouldn’t class as dog friendly,thought it was rather pricey for the size and area,also stairs are very dangerous at the top
