Had an amazing time staying here and we're already hoping that one day we can stay here again.

The property is fantastic, this has been one of my favourite stays in traveling. It's smartly, lovingly designed, clean and homely. Every room seems to have that extra bit of care to make it sing, whether that's entertainment bits and bobs in the bedrooms, amenities in the bathroom or the very well equipped kitchen. Checking in was simple and the host was very communicative, and gave us a brief, warm greeting just after arrival. The location is amazing - a few minutes from the station, shops, cafes, and the beach nearby.

It really feels like a challenge to come up with anything to dislike, and if so it would just be nitpicking - the reality is that this was a brilliant place to stay and the host clearly cares about how accommodating the house is and how guests are doing.

A beautifully presented Edwardian house with everything you will need

Prior to our visit the owner (Hadeel) turned on lights and heating to give a lovely warm reception upon arrival, left us some chocolates and wrote sweet messages in our rooms. Towels and toiletries were provided for each visitor, excellent touch.

No toilet on the ground floor, but three on first floor.

Home from home that caters for all your needs!

What an exceptional place! Fantastic location - within 5 mins walk from the centre or 2 mins walk to a supermarket, lovely and clean, very comfortable ( beds and plenty of sofas in the lounge), well decorated throughout and the proprietor has a perfect eye for detail eg… soft lighting and music upon our arrival, ‘happy holiday’ message to greet us, aids to help the elderly, toys and videos for children, Plenty of kitchen utensils should you wish to cook, the list goes on! There was a lovely little outdoor area around the back if you are a smoker or just want to sit out in the sun or even dry a few clothes should you wish to take advantage of the washer/ironing board, it really is ‘home from home’. Thank you so much Hadeel, i know we didn’t get to meet you due to a bit of chaos at our end before we arrived but we just wanted you to know how much we appreciated your wonderful little haven 💖 the perfect stay in wonderful Filey ⭐️ its a gold star from us! 😘

Very little to mention as Hadeel seems to be a perfectionist! If anything, we were slightly disappointed that check in time is quite late ( 4pm as opposed to 2pm which we have encountered at many places) and check out was 9.30-10am ( as opposed to 11-12 noon that we have encountered at other places), though this would not prevent us from staying here in the future and will still highly recommend to friends& family 😁

Perfect house for 12. Great host and perfect location.

Great host, nothing too much trouble. Great location for whole family. Very comfortable and well appointed. Parking on side streets a challenge but always found somewhere. Filey small but beautiful town. Supermarket few minutes away. Beach perfect sand and plenty of space. Walk on the Brigg for something different. Probably last time I was here was 60 years ago! Lovely to rekindle old memories. Filey has not list it's charm.

Difficult to think of anything. I had to drive 250 miles to get there but that was my choice to meet up with my family!! Well worth the trip.

Perfect for a family gathering-reunion. Plenty of space for all and very well equipped

All good. Off street parking is free, however a parking space near the house is not always guaranteed on a busy weekend. This is understandable, as the lovely old part of Filey was not designed for 3 car families!

Excellent location close to the town centre. Spacious and clean house. Landlady was really friendly and greeted us on arrival. Nice back yard to sit out and have a beer and space to store our bikes securely.

This has to be the perfect place for families to stay!

Beautiful, comfortable and cosy house situated close to the town and beach. Perfect for our family with plenty of sleeping options and a spacious layout. Absolutely everything had been thought of by the lovely hosts, including stairgates, cots, high chairs and toys for the little ones to walking sticks and standing frames for older guests.

Brilliant accommodation, lovely hosts, and Filey is a super place for families.

Our hosts were lovely, and readily available, even when we posed a couple of problems for them! Number 12 was even better than shown- beautifully clean, lots of rooms, and we got a discount as there were only 5 of us. The house is renovated to a really high standard and lots of thoughtful details such as safety gates throughout, changing mats and games for the little (and big) ones. Near to the station and bus station for getting around, easy free parking on the road and a short walk to the shops or beach. A nice sun trap outside ready for a sunny day - we didn’t have much good weather but lots to do in the area anyway, the Scarborough Fair Collection at Lebberston Roundabout was good value and brilliant for a rainy day (or anytime), nostalgia for the older adults and lots of fun for everyone. Our 7 year-old grandson gave Number 12 10 out of 10 and we all agreed with that.

Very comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean house in good location for friends gathering.

House was easy to find and access, warm and welcoming when we arrived and immaculately clean. The host came to meet us and showed us round all the facilities and made sure we had everything we needed.

Hunting for on-street parking though we were lucky and found a spot in the street next to the house; and there were lots of other options including the 24 hour car park and Tesco car park both very close by.

Excellent accommodation in a great little seaside town

The house is beautifully furnished and equipped. It felt welcoming from the minute we walked in. The owner, Hadeel, was easy to communicate with and visited very soon after our arrival. The location is convenient for shops, eating places and pubs. It is only a ten minutes walk to the glorious Filey Bay. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing holiday house!

Had a really lovely holiday in Filey staying at No.12 holiday house. This is definitely the best thought out and well equipped holiday house we have ever stayed at! Absolutely immaculate house with everything you need for a family holiday and more - you name it, the owners have thought of it. The attention to detail and cleanliness was second to none. The house is simply stunning and the location is brilliant as the beach is a short 5 mins stroll away. The owner was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend highly enough!
