4 bedroom townhouse in the centre of the beautiful seaside town of Filey. 5 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes walk to the town centre. Full refurbishment completed in February.
Ground floor brand new large kitchen diner with range cooker. Dining space for 8 with smart TV. Lower ground floor living room with TV and computer consoles. 2 x king size bedrooms. 1 x double bunk bed. 1 x twin room. All rooms with TV’s. No outside space. 1 x bathroom with bath. 1 x shower room.
The house is close to all amenities, the town centre and the beach. Filey beach has been ranked in the top six beaches in the world that are great for kids, and it was the only beach in the UK to make it on to the list.
Filey is the perfect place for those who enjoy a gentler pace of life - a little off the beaten track, and all the better for it!
With its glorious sweep of soft, golden sand, Filey beach is one of the best in the country for families – it’s so huge that, no matter how busy it gets, it’s never crowded.
It’s the perfect place to take a walk, fly a kite, build a sandcastle, snooze in a deckchair, or maybe do a spot of birdwatching – Filey Brigg, a peninsula at the northern end of the town. Early spring may find you face to face with a snoozing seal on the beach, and in summer porpoise sightings are regular. Then why not follow it up with a trip to the much-loved Coble Landing, a slipway with a picturesque jumble of boats and kiosks, for a cuppa and a bacon buttie?
The town, too, is full of gentle pleasures, with its Edwardian architecture, traditional pubs, wine/gin bars, diverse choice of restaurants, quirky shops and intriguing museum.
