Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. In addition, no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very nice, clean and centrally located. We were within walking distance for many restaurants and walking trails. The private beach with lounges was really nice and convenient without having to drive. To enjoy the lake.

The room is nice for a couple, with a little balcony that faces the pool. It's in the lodge among lots of rooms/apartments, with a check-in area in the lobby like a hotel. Staff were kind and helpful. The morning sunlight does fill the room, so if you're trying to sleep in, bring an eye mask (I was glad I happened to have mine.) The kitchen had everything we needed, except a cutting board. Everything is in walking distance (grocery stores, restaurants), most importantly the lake! I brought my kayak and easily launched from the beach. We did drive about 15 minutes to a trail head for a glorious hike. Very relaxing few days.

I booked this room because it had a fireplace, but when we got there it was not working. Apparently it needed batteries in the switch. After being told they would fix it the next day, and that did not happen, I went and bought the batteries and gave them to maintenance to install. VRBO did offer to reimburse me for the cost of the batteries. In addition, the wifi is ridiculously poor! I am not talking about the lack of being able to play video games, but so poor that reservations cannot be made, trails cannot be checked out, and info about places that are open cannot be obtained. There was better wifi in the parking lot. Seriously, VRBO needs to fix this! On the plus side, the space was clean and spacious.
