Great location, comfy bed, lots of space, next to a river and surrounded by trees, what’s not to love

Bit chilly in the lounge could do with an extra heater maybe

It was relaxing and peaceful being away from Keswick itself, but it was accessible via the old railway line if you didn't want to use the car..Good for walkers and cyclists passing through and those that want to run away from the main road. There is a walk into the hills within 10 minutes of the base. The Bobbin Mill cafe was open all the time to our surprise as in the information book says it was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday's. So our thinking was that they have changed the opening hours. This cafe is open to everyone passing by along the old railway track.

Loved our stay at apartment 6. The apartment itself was very clean and very well equipped. Location was excellent, just a short walk into keswick centre. Kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and clean.The only small niggle was the appearance of the communal area which, whilst clean and tidy could have done with the cobwebs and spiders eggs being dusted away if only to showcase the rest of the building and outside areas which were beautiful. That said, we would definitely stay here again.

Smells of wet dog. Carpets to be removed. Sofa and chair grubby - needs replaced. Bathroom pull cord was filthy - needs replaced. No grill in oven
