Great place to stay with easy access and relaxing atmosphere

A great place to discover the Lake District from!

The location is very good just outside of Keswick (so car required), well equipped, kitchen had everything you (normally) need. Beds were ok. Beautiful garden and river/hillside view. Spacious parking area.

A more ample supply of toilettries would have been the cherry on the top. The flushing of the toilet sounded like thundering - needed a bit to get used to it.

Weekend escape

Everything was great starting with the area, the property and commodities in it as well as the staff, all very nice and welcoming.

From the postcodes provided, both the property and an alternative one which should lead us closer, we struggled to find the place as both would lead us to the houses on the main road. I suggest they consider add a small map to the emails to help people find the right place.

Absolutely fantastic!

Everything! Greeted with a warm welcome from the manager. Room was absolutely spot on, had everything we needed. Great for the kids, park and a green where they could play with their ball. Great for the dog, the Keswick to Threlkeld railway path walking route is literally through a gate off the site, that goes on for miles.

Location, views, comfy beds.

TV kept losing reception. Central heating seemed to be controlled centrally so on when we arrived. Most radiators could be turned off though.
