Good place

Finishing touches required to reach it's potential.

The decor was quirky. And the place was easy to get into

- Boken TV left in the hallway on arrival into the property and laundry left drying directly outside of the enterance to appartment. - Fridge was turned off on arrival, took a while to get to a suitable temperature. - Horrible smell of mould/drains coming from the bathroom which unfortunately I could smell through out the property. - There was laundry found in the washing machine provided. - No soap/washing up liquid provided to clean pots. had to use shower gel - No cleaning apperatus available to wipe worktops etc. - One of the shower heads did not work correctly - Some of the decorative sheets/throws smelt a bit fusty. - Seemed to be crumbs and general debris left on some of the counters (specifically the coffee table). There's lots of little finishing touches needed to bring the place up to scratch. Doors dont close properly, stool in the bed room is wobbly and dangerous. Candels scattered around the place which is great... nothing to light them with. cheapest bottle opener I've ever seen. Little chips, scratches on the furnishings. Windows could do with a clean. Honestly, alot of potential with the place. just needs some time and effort applying the finishing touches that could bring it up to scratch.

Once we were inside, it was fine!

The place was very clean. It was spacious. There were some interesting features. The kitchen area was very acceptable. The shower was good with plenty of hot water.

Getting in was a nightmare. We hadn't been sent a code and the contact phone number wasn't answered for around 30 minutes. The call went to voicemail. When eventually we did get the code it took many attempts to get in and there was an indication of low battery. Whilst I was trying to get through my husband looked at the back yard where there were rats running around. We couldn't park round the back as there was a car blocking the way and anyway, I wouldn't want to since the road seemed a safer option. The back yard really needs cleaning out with the weeds and broken equipment thrown away. It's not a pleasant view from the bedroom. There were also overflowing bins on the street which were there for the whole time we were there. With people hanging around at night it did not feel a safe location. During the day it was fine. Inside, in general things were good. It would be good to have something that would go in the oven to cook on e.g. casserole, baking/roasting tin as well as microwaveable cookware. The drains smelt bad for the first day but that had improved after 24 hours.

I couldn’t find the bank vault but had a relaxing week

I liked that you had everything there including a washing machine.

The floors were very strange to walk on it felt like I was on a boat always pushing you towards the door! And the shower was cold after seconds of running the water. But a great place to stay

Pretty awful experience 😕

The apartment was really clean once inside, and beautifully decorated. It would have been perfect if you could pick it up and move it somewhere else.

The apartment couldn,t have been in a worse area , I dare any woman to go for a walk at night on your own down that road , it was extremely scarey ,..drug addicts and drunk people everywhere, lying on the pavement, down almost every alley way, we saw more than one person actively taking drugs, . Unfortunately we had to venture out as we had our dog with us , I ve literally never seen such an awful area, let alone had to stay there. Once we actually got in bed , we were woken at 1.30 am by what sounded like someone kicking and banging on the front door .Thank god we didn,t have children with us , they would have been terrified. Needless to say the next morning we packed up our stuff and got out, even though we had paid for two nights, we cut our losses and ran . I don,t know how people could not mention the dreadful area when writing their reviews..

Uncomfortable stay.

The apartment was clean and looked nice. Plus parking was available on site.

The sofa was very uncomfortable, one cushion and hard surface. The bath was extremely small, not big enough for an average sized adult. The water wouldn't go very hot either. We thought the bed looked huge and was happy at first, before realising it was just 2 extremely uncomfortable single beds pushed together. Although it says dog friendly, there is absolutely nowhere nearby to take animals to do their business, just a busy, noisy built up street with people hanging about until after 1am. We felt really uncomfortable going outside, the area is not nice at all. We had to pay extra for a late check out at 12pm, only for the cleaner (who didnt really understand what we was saying) to wake us up by knocking on the door asking to clean at 10am. Not worth the money we paid at all.

Comfort but not great area with some facilities not working

The area is not nice, drug deal outside the door and couldn’t walk out at night so many nasty people around also the washing machine did not work which could tell hadn’t worked. For a while because mould in the inner bit , also blood stain on bedding which we didn’t use

Very nice apartment for a couple

Asked for two beds ended up with one bed and the worst sofa bed I have ever slept in in my life had to sleep on the quilt and ended up having to use the blanket that was on the arm of the sofa so ended up being awake most of the night with the cold

The size and decor is amazing. Very comfortable and luxurious. Walking distance to the town.

We stay for the Boston marathon and the place was perfect. Comfortable stay with 10 mind walk to the start.

Beautiful apartment with quirky decorations. We love the statement stones n and he bathrooms as well as the mechanical clocks and especially the gold/ silver lights.

Disappointing end

Only needed to stay somewhere last minute due to existing accommodation issues. Had taken our own food in our own pots and pans

Host was very quick to take all deposits and payments which we made and completed straight away as needed somewhere urgent then the next day host was unprofessionally contacting and messaging via WhatsApp about a pan which had been used and we had explained we didn't use anything at all we was quite happy up until that point. Very disappointing will not be staying again

I loved the high-quality refurbishment of the apartment, which made the space feel modern and inviting. The responsiveness and dedication of the hosts in addressing minor issues, even during the holiday season, was truly commendable. It made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

While the host had clearly communicated the limited parking availability, having more convenient options would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, a dedicated work table in the apartment would have been a perfect touch for those needing a workspace. These small adjustments could elevate an already wonderful stay even further.
