Convenient location for town centre, but lacked comfort where needed.

Grant House was clean and the location was convenient for the Gliderdrome. Bathroom and kitchen were ideal for our needs.

The bedroom was very dark, and there was no hairdryer provided. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and i felt every spring, may I suggest a decent mattress topper could help the rectify this. Additional pillows would have improved our stay. One very thin pillow per person was not enough. Located down an alley, upon arrival, we had to dodge the 2 puddles of vomit, the large industrial bin and broken glass to reach the doorway. Walking down to property in the dark certainly increased my level of vulnerability. Leaflets, takeaway flyers and information on places to eat and things to do in the area would be a very helpful addition to the property. We spent ages wandering around looking for a place to enjoy a sit down evening meal. We ended up at the local KFC out of desperation. We were planning on enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the property but to be honest, we couldn’t wait to get out of Dodge, so we changed our train tickets to and left 3 hours earlier. For what it was, i felt the price was fair but definitely glad i didn’t pay anymore. A few changes as suggested above would have made our stay much more comfortable/enjoyable. Im sure others would be happy with the facilities, however as a couple aged over 50, comfort is important and on this occasion we felt Grant House lacked that.

The property was spotlessly clean, I’ve never stayed in somewhere so good. The photos don’t do it justice it’s a one bedroom flat with a good kitchen and huge bathroom

The entrance is down a narrow alley, if I was on my own I would feel nervous, however I was ok as with my daughter. it would be nice if they could put some opaque film across the windows so the blinds didn’t have to be kept down in order for privacy

Clean, aesthetic and spacious.

The host came out on the road to look for me and it was especially appreciated as I was walking alone and had luggage. He helped me to collect keys and put in all the codes.

The main door of the hotel is not easy to find. Can seem to some people as an unsafe place. Though, for me it was very safe.

Great central location

Location in the centre is ideal, there is everything you need for a break away. It’s a little hide away with a ‘fairy’ like entrance door.

downside for females travelling alone is, the entrance is accessed via an alley way between two high walled buildings, so we were a little weary going back at night as it was dark. This also made the apartment dark during the day. We couldn’t see the sky, or or what the weather was like outside as the windows faced into the alley. This meant that there isn’t much natural day light. You have to have the lights on.

The room was good, clean and tidy. We loved that we have our own kitchen, 👌 also the bedroom was so nice..

The location, was quite hard to find it🤔, specially the car park our navigation was turning us in circles, until somehow we found it.

Superb flexible space - great getaway space that is more personal than a hotel

Really bijou, lovely deviation, excellent facilities and incredibly clean.

Really fantastic. Two little niggles. 1. would have been better with bedside lights as only ceiling light with switch other side of bedroom. 2. water pipes clank a bit during the night - a bit noisy. Two small things- otherwise great facilities, really quiet, lovely decoration and private family space. So much nicer than a hotel!

Very clean ,no staff at ll is ike a self service But is very dark place ,you canot open a window, cause the people from out side see you...i was on apartment A Groud floor And for me was a lilte claustrofóbic.
