RIVERSIDE APARTMENT IN THE CENTRE

Great location, hosts responsive to messages/queries. Easy to book/locate property. Comfortable. Would book again. My son loved the beams - my husband knocked his head a few times but we still loved them- added character. Quiet location on the river - a bit of outside noise but you can get that anywhere!

Parking was quite difficult - we had to park on the road in the end - luckily there was one space left or we'd have had quite a walk. If parking isn't an issue for you - I'd definitely recommend. Someone mentioned a carport opposite the property in their review - but it is for permit holders only.

The location was excellent and the basic facilities all worked ok. The shower was good, beds comfortable and the kitchen was clean.

The apartment looked sparse and basic. The bedrooms and bathroom were restricted by large roof beams and both my friend and I are tall so we had to be careful. There were no "extras" at all so we had to buy washing up liquid, find a dishcloth and get basic foodstuffs like sugar, salt etc. plus soap for the washbasin. There was half a toilet roll provided and we supplied more. There were no egg cups, or a coffee cafetiere and the crockery range was limited. Small additions like this would have made a real difference and changed our perceptions considerably. The ceiling window blind in one bedroom was broken and the TV remote control in one bedroom had dead batteries but everything else worked. We had limited time on our stay so didn't ask for these things to be corrected.
