Was standard

It was ok but not amazing as the whole of the second floor is very creaky noisy.

Taps were faulty in kitchen and built up grime in the downstairs toilet taps. Also living room had 1 light bulb as if were not paying enough to cover electricity.

It was ok

Very close to our site

When we arrived at the house, we entered the key code that they emailed to us and it didn’t open the lock. After trying several times, I rang the number given,we managed to get though after being cut off 6 times, only to be told that the key code was changed last minute. Code was given and then text. Floor boards are very noisy and the cooking utensils, baking trays etc very basic.

Visiting family

We were visiting my mum who lives in Boston, and the property was only a five to ten minute drive from her house. This, for me, was a good reason to choose The Old Dairy. There were teabags, coffee, and sugar available. The shower was good.

The property is fairly basic, although sufficient for one night's stay. The fronts of some of the kitchen cupboards were peeling. The floor boards creaked a lot, not good when trying to settle young children to sleep. My mattress had a few bumps in it. The plug in the bath was too small so the water wouldn't stay in. And it would have been nice to have had some garden furniture to sit on as it was a lovely summer evening. Having said all this, I would use the property again as it is in a convenient location to visit my mum. Below I've said that the property met my expectations as we used it last year so I knew what to expect.

Upstairs floor boards are very badly Creaking to the point when walking out the bathroom and along the corridor it wakes any light sleepers up, rest of house could use a fresh coat of paint as it’s showing signs of wear

Unusable bath, otherwise ok

I liked that there was a garden and that there was parking. Also had cooking/washing facilities

I booked this house based on the fact it had a bath (which i dont have at home) only to find there was no plug when I went to run a bath. I had better options without baths, so wasnt very happy about this. The floorboards in the upstairs rooms were also unbelievably creaky. The neighbours next door were extremely noisy and banging all day and night.

Very easy to access the property and parking right outside, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well kitted out for cooking simple meals.

Overall a average clean & comfortable stay but good price

Nice quiet location but close to centre. Was nice to have a house to ourselves, parking was also a big bonus. Check in was nice & easy.

Thought people were being abit dramatic about the creaky floorboards but they were right, weren’t a problem until your trying to be quiet as kids are asleep and they creek so loud even without moving 🙈 Could do with a little bit more attention to cleaning, light switches and door handles were quite dirty. Also some scissors in the kitchen would be handy!

Terrible nights sleeps for all three of us

Ease of location and access. Kitchen was clean and well appointed.

The beds were lumpy and springs could be felt - we had to turn all our mattresses and pad them out with towels. The pillows were lumpy. No bedside table lamps just glaring bright lightbulbs - the small room was like a prison cell. We chose this over a Premier Inn but next time we will pay more for the Premier Inn as this proved to be false economy.

Property is in need of a thorough clean throughout - lots of grubby marks on walls and doors. Flaking laminate on kitchen units really needs replacing - we hardly dare touch them in case it chipped off. Floors upstairs were very creaky, especially the bathroom - we wonder if there has been a leak which has damaged the boards and possibly the joists. It didn’t feel safe walking on it. Walking across the back bedroom floor caused the wardrobe to rattle.

3 beds. Location. Garden.

Terrible creaking floor in bathroom and rear bedroom - I suspect major problem with wood rot in joists?! Kitchen cupboards’ peeling facia. Fence falling down. Needs a bit of a TLC makeover.

Wonderful house on sweet street. Family cosy home.

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks, I just love it I wish it was mine. House cleaning came and made the beds had way through stay and left fresh towels

The lights stopped working but our fault for not letting them know as I know they’d fix it because they sent someone directly to fix the boiler.

nice location ,clean house ,well equipped clean towels and bed linen

although very clean and tidy and well equipped the property was let down a little by looking a little tired and frayed around the edges (shabby paintwork, kitchen draws loose vinyl covering on kitchen cupboards coming loose ) the wifi code given was not correct and we had to try the code on the router on about 4 different wifi signals till we found the correct 1 ..it was not stated what the name of the wifi was ..we worked it out but it could annoy some people ..we only stayed 2 nights as a bolt hole for a wedding ...we were not too bothered about these minor details but i feel if i had booked a 2 week stay i would have been a little disappointed

The location was good as expected. The property was very good value. Beds were comfortable and we were provided with lots of clean towels.

The property didn’t appear to be clean. There was only a couple of mugs and glasses so as there was 5 of us we had to buy more. The wi-fi didn’t work and no instructions for password.

To stay 1 night and only one time for these price is ok. Because it was cheap for house with 3 beds. Location is good, everything is near. Nice garden but only 2 chairs no table no nothing. Honestly to stay one more time I will not stay.

It was dirty, everywhere dust and floor look like nobody hoover. From kettle it was impossible to drink because have taste of bleach. To stay 1 night ok. But if you want to contact property ask from first about personal contact number because they will not give you any answer for a phone what is there and in Booking.com as well.
