AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Awful experience

The property did not have a security alarm as advertised and the owner went on holiday leaving me on the property on my own. There was an open field on 2 sides of the property and a busy main road at back of the property with lots of taxis up and down and noise.The lounge and dining area had no curtains for privacy. There was no fire extinguisher. The Pool was dirty. There was no hairdryer and no gas to cook food on stove. There was no hot water in kitchen.There were cockaroaches in bedroom. No dining area table and chairs as advertised.I left the property as I felt unsafe and very disappointed. I haven't been refunded despite an agreement by owner to refund me. Shameful

Wir haben im Seaside Cottage wunderschöne Tage verbracht und es schweren Herzens verlassen. Gastgeber Simon ist sehr zugewandt, allzeit erreich- und ansprechbar, mit Rat und Tat behilflich, und trotzdem zurückhaltend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl, willkommen und auch sicher gefühlt. Mein absoluter Lieblingsplatz: auf der halbschattigen Terrasse mit Morgentee und Blick in den idyllischen Garten ! Innen ist alles clever durchdacht und so wurde mit Stil relativ viel Raum geschaffen. Eine top ausgestattete Küche: alles da und von hochwertiger Qualität. Geniales KühlschrankTool: gefiltertes Wasser innen in den 4,5l fassenden Kanister füllen, ein Schlauch führt in der Tür nach aussen - so hat man jederzeit Zugang zu frisch gekühltem Trinkwasser - einfach perfekt ! So sind es viele Kleinigkeiten, die aber den Unterschied machen !! Des weiteren: zB zur freien Verfügung bereitgestellte Cola, Bier mit/ohne %, Softdrinks. Kaffee, Tee, Salz/Pfeffer. Teekanne und FrenchPress. Auch keine Selbstverständlichkeit: genügend Handtücher und ausreichend !! Toilettpapier, sowie Duschgel/Shampoo. Simon - Danke für Alles !! Wir hoffen, bald wiederkommen zu können !!
