I had a truly wonderful stay at this place. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning sea view and exceptional attention to detail in the décor. Everything was tastefully furnished, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere that made me feel completely at home. The location is fantastic, perfect for enjoying the surroundings and relaxing to the sound of the sea. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by the lady who manages the property. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even more special.

The property was in a great location, the facilities were tip top, comfy bed, spacious, lovely sitting/dining room, balcony. Oh the breakfast! Absolutely delicious. Most of all our fabulous host - kindness to the core. Above and beyond. We were so delighted to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Long overdue holiday

We where treated very good. The hostess we very friendly and accommodating. I loved the homemade rusk and the vetkoek that she made. Breakfast was great. Me and my wife will definitely come back again. I will recommend my friends and family to book this place.

A comfy , spacious, clean room close to the beach in beautiful Kommetjie.

We had the room at the back of the property over the garden. We had glimpses of the ocean and beach and the room was filled with sunlight in the evening. We ate in as it was Christmas Day and we enjoyed eating on the little balcony. The bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep after a long flight. The breakfast was lovely with home made granola, fruit, and cooked breakfast as well. The host, Henobi, is delightful.

Great room with large comfortable bed. It was fascinating to see how the wooden beams were pinned together to support the thatched roof above.

A comfortable and well located place to stay

Super experience - so many little added extras made the stay extra special. Hosting was excellent; friendly, helpful and on hand for any assistance. The room was beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed, very clean and with everything required for a good night’s sleep. Would happily rebook 🙂

Perfect getaway with a sea view

I had a wonderful stay at house of Braganza The place is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and I could even see the sea from my bed. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back anytime. Very clean . Comfortable bed.

Milk or long life milk in the room for coffee in the morning. There was no tea in the bedroom . Also A bit awkward to step out of your room in your pjs at 6 am to fetch some milk from the communal fridge. Hairdryer very small, low voltage. Took some time to get me hair dry .

Cape town and surroundings family trip

Everything was exceptional. The owner is a lovely lady who will treat you like family. I fully recommend this place. The location is great too, close to the cape point, Muizenberg, and still not far from cape town itself where you can go via chapman's or constantia or take a faster road, whatever you prefer.

Very neat and tidy. Amazing attention to detail. Extremely friendly, kind, accommodating and helpful host. Good breakfast and again, amazing attention to detail. We felt very welcome and well looked after!

We really had a good stay. But if we had to give some feedback: The shower was nice and hot, but the shower head spray was a bit chaotic. The bath towels are also perhaps getting a bit thin, so could be replaced at some point.

We loved The House of Braganza

My wife and I loved everything about the House of Braganza. It was a little rainy on the day we were checking in and we were going to visit Boulder Beach earlier in the morning, we asked to leave our luggage in our room at the house somewhat earlier and Henobi couldn't have been more accommodating. Osanah and Mr Braganza greeted us and helped us with our baggage. Their house is beautiful, very near a quiet white sand beach and has everything you would need for your stay. Our room was quiet, our bed huge and comforting!! A luxury énsuite bathroom with a fantastic hot tub. Henobi, our host was there every morning to take care of our breakfast needs. Henobi lends so much vibrant energy and brightness every morning, such a lovely and knowledgeable person to talk with, and no wonder.... She lives in what I would describe as one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas I've ever been to in the world. That alone would imbibe you with energy. Honestly we were sad to leave this wonderful home. It's perfectly positioned to launch from to explore the cape. The costal drive from the House of Braganza via Hout Baai towards Cape Town is absolutely jaw dropping, so you have to be careful keep your eyes on the road while driving!! There was so much more to see but it was soon time to go home. Thank you Henobi for hosting the perfect place. Definitely we will come to stay at House of Braganza again....

Best Stay of multiple establishments!

We had a variety of 14 stays during a long road-tripping experience of the WC. We have agreed that the House of Braganza was most suitable for our needs, more especially the room with the sea view and openness to the ocean air coming off the ocean. Our dogs were most comfortable, and the beach was right there! The hostess was most friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you, we will be back for sure.
