There weren't any dish rags to clean if you messed. The Dstv did not work, but it gave me time to enjoy other things

The comfortable bed and safe location
The curtain rail broke , uncleared marking on air con. Pressed it but was an alarm, it went off but no one came, good job it wasn't an emergency!! Only saw Fanny, the host, when we checked in we had to wait over an hour for her to arrive. Other than that we never saw her again although she said she would be there from 9am to 3pm.

I expected at least a table to work at.The alarm kept beeping the whole night . I was on a course at the Yacht Club so I needed to work. The noise from the informal settlement was the whole Friday night . Not the host fault but the room door was facing that and I slept with the door open because the airconditioner was set right over the bed. In order to charge cellphone I had to pull a heavy bed away . They could have made that easier. The gate took me 10 minutes to open

There was no one there at the advertised time and the phone number provided was incorrect.
Almost nothing was explained. The alarm went off at 4am after a power outage and I didn't have a code to turn it off. There wasn't even a glass in the room, and there wasn't even a chair. The photos do not match the room. I was supposed to leave the door unlocked when I was away as there was no second key. (In South Africa with valuables in the room :))))
Directly in front of the window (at the house) a lamp burned all night, which one could not put out, so that it was bright in the room.
There was no breakfast.

The welcome and the orientation on arrival was underwhelming.

Spacious Room, and all amenities needed were accessible. The host were also very understanding with our late night check-in.
Communication has room for improvement, host did not respond to messages, however answered calls.

Rooms were cleaned
No wifi connection in my room (signal was too weak).
Doorbell does not work and phone number on booking.com was not answered and my call not returned. I had to return at a later stage in the day to check in.
Blinds in my room were not working.
There is an outside light outside the door that is on permanently and lightens the entire room.
The noise from neighbours was too loud.

This Guesthouse is a fraud and should be removed from your options.
The fact that I made the booking and payed through Booking.com, On my arrival at 18:45 there was no Host, building was locked up. Phone nr's to Host not working. Waited 3 hrs and had to find alternative accommodation at R1600.00 @ 22.30 at night in Cape town.. numerous calls were made to the Host, tried through there Security Company. Lodged a fraud case at my bank Fraud Dept. Had to block my account until this morning,and have to pay for a new card to be issued.

Very nice that there is a fully equipped kitchen even with a washing machine. Also nice the outdoor place and dining, lounge room. Safe place. Would go again.

Great facility with shared kitchen and comfortable living/dining room. Also nice to sit outside. Safe parking. Extended my stay another 2 days.
