f bed was not screwed on properly so we had to switch it off to avoid the risk of it

1. Fan on top of bed was not screwed on properly so we had to switch it off to avoid the risk of it falling 2. The bin in the toilet had pantyliner papers (not cleaned out) 3. There was that bath/shower but we could only shower because the stopper was not there to bath. 4. Breakfast was not great, they could definitely do better 5. Rooms do not have irons 6. Bar fridge remains on room temperature so defeats the purpose of a fridge 7. Chairs outside cannot be adjusted

The view was stunning, the service from the staff was so welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Always great to be back here.. I often stay in off season for month or two in one of the incredible Hout Bay view rooms . But I fount a free night this summer ! The Rooms are super. Big beds, side lights, fresh sheets , nice shower and towels. Jeremiah and his team as always look after everyone and make incredible breakfasts to your tastes . Plus weetabix , yoghurts, and cereals / cheeses to start with on the sides . Then cooked breakfast.. !!!!!

All good. Be careful of pool view room - can be noisy in morning while breakfast being prepared . But was grateful to have any room in summer honestly .

Amazing view and friendly staff who did a necessary laundry in Christmas time.

We were in Christmas time and it was not so clean, like under the bed no one seems to look. Also you wake up between 6 and 7 am because there are no curtains equipped to hold back the bright sunlight. We would like to sleep at least 1 hour more and curtains that help with that. Also there was a lot of wind when we were there, which might be part of the Bay Area.

Beautifully located with amazing views of Hout bay. Breakfast was perfect and staff very attentive.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned professionally, there was hair on the shower screen and also quite a lot of hair on the base of the toilet and on bathroom floor. The door to our bedroom didn’t catch on the latch and we had to use the key to lock it every time we popped out of our room even if one of us just had to speak with reception and the other was in the bedroom. No body lotion in the bedroom, we asked the staff to refill for us (since there was an empty bottle) and he advised we’d better buying our own since it wasn’t very good. The halal breakfast on request was actually a vegetarian breakfast rather than a halal meat alternative. The pool was really grubby with leaves and flowers. It would be a nice space to use if it was clean. The ramp to the garage to park your car was very steep and damaged the lip at the front of our car so if you have a low car be mindful about this.

I think it’s amazing the host was very welcoming and the service and food was amazing. My boyfriend is someone who’s hard to impress when it comes to going out. I know the stay was great after he said let’s book again he could not stop talking about the food the service and he loves coffee and the coffee for him was spot on. So this is the best stay we’ve ever had.

Beautiful place. Breakfast they made was good.

Just seemed a little disappointing, they wanted to move rooms and at even a stage completely different guest house. Seemed they just took the booking and try to figure it out later. Tv didn't work, dirt behind all the furniture I saw when plugging in devices.

Where it was situated, unsafe area to walk in at night, the photos of the house made it look nearer to the front and it was quite a drive away. Unpleasant smell in the house, ?cigarette smoke or other. Cooking smells came up to the bedroom in the morning due to the open plan nature downstairs . Soundproofing poor, could hear snoring and tv playing until early hours. Fruit put out at breakfast was lying uncovered attracting flies.

No flip flop nor bzthsuit, no conditionner, no hairdeyer, no iron … basic things, no lift and a lot of stairs with luggage … very complicated. Hopefully we are strong and Young. Impossible for old people. You have to mention it.

Not as good as it was advertised to be

The area is next to the township which was not mentioned on the booking description meaning we had to go via that area to get to the accommodation. The was no hair dry in the bathroom and the shower cap was a used or old shower cap you can tell that it has been used by all the other guests. The breakfast was not satisfying because the was raw cut onion,eggs were burnt.
