No.18 - Ground Floor apartment close to the beach

Ground floor and easy access. No stairs! Very close to seafront.

Noisy people upstairs in the building at night (who may have been guests in another flat) including woman arguing loudly in middle of the night.

The host was very accommodating and was available for questions. The place was very clean and had all mod cons. The apartment was very spacious and it was in a great quiet location for the beach and amenities. Parking space was a bonus. Other residents were sociable. Glad we had Netflix and Amazon Prime. Daughter enjoyed the use of the DAB radio when she cooked a meal.

The settees were a little uncomfortable for me but the others were ok with them. You may need some oil or wd40 on the hinges of the main door to the house. Opening that up at gone 11.00pm was like waking the dead as it was soooo quiet.

Very good size, really clean. Great location.

Very spacious rooms . 2 fans available which helped! Good kitchen facilities. Good location with private parking.

Small amount of steps going up to bathroom which was a little awkward to say the least as I am elderly and have moderate problems with my knees ...this was not mentioned about not very appropriate if you have disability set backs. Beds...plenty of them but not king size as described..more like just large bed which was awkward for us as we both need king-size bed between us minimum ( as we have at home) . Ended up sleeping separately. Shower nice and powerful but way to small an enclosure and again awkward high step up/ down, not good for mobility problems if you have them. ( Actually tripped and fell!) Place overall seemed tired I'm afraid. Had leak from upstairs flat into our kitchen but dealt very efficiently by Paul and Nicola who were very quick to sort out.
