It was very comfortable and near all the local shops. We loved the kitchen and the outlook onto the church. The 3 of us had a floor each to ourselves to sleep and we enjoyed chatting and eating in the kitchen.
The pigeons were annoying but that’s got nothing to do with the property, but they were a bit too noisy but we also had a laugh about it!

The property is very quaint well equipped a nicely decorated with some lovely original old features. The location was outstanding, view beautiful views of Cromer Church from the bedroom window.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property but small minor points is the wooden varnished floor in the bathroom can become quite slippy and the Wi-Fi signal in the basement struggle struggles slightly but overall it was a very positive experience.

It was very nicely furnished and everything we needed was there. It’s a really sweet property nestled in the town. It’s really well laid out given the tight space.
It’s an interesting and quirky space, which is what drew us to it.
The pigeons - so many - very noisy - day and night !
Needs netting off !! We didn’t sleep much !!

The house was very central. Easy to park nearby in the 24 hour car park and close to the beach. The decor was lovely, felt very homely. We had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay.
There was some noise at night but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable so bear this in mind if you need to use it.

Excellent location in the centre of town. Warm & comfortable accommodation. Speedy & friendly communication from the owner when we had a question. V near the beach, cinema, pier theatre & bus & train stations. We went without a car and there was no problem getting around. Great shower water pressure & hot water. Near lots of fab cafes (Fig & Olive opposite was fantastic) Excellent view of church from top bedroom. Beware, lots of steep stairs if you're not very fit!

Lovely property - cleverly set out. Loved the copper and blue combination. Owner was really welcoming and communication was excellent. Excellent base for a few days in Cromer - very central.
Fridge/freezer wasn't very clean but not bad enough to complain about. Steps leading into property were difficult to navigate. Property not suitable for anyone that has difficulty going up and down stairs.
Musty smell in basement lounge and kitchen - windows needed to be kept shut because of pigeons which may contribute to this issue. Pigeons very noisy at night - kept me awake. This isn't the property owner's fault and nothing that could not be remedied.
There was also a very noise pub nearby - with loud music. Again not something the property owner could do anything about - just sharing for awareness,

The property was in a very central location,
The alleyway leading to the property was very dark and dingy and covered in pigeon poo. Hand rail and steps leading into the property was also covered in pigeon poo and that made the steps very slippery and dangerous.
The bathroom the shower door was falling off and water was cold also had a terrible smell in the bathroom, the basement (living room) was freezing and had a damp smell!
The main bedroom bed was very squeaky and noisy (not due to action) pigeons was just a problem through out our stay.

High standard of decor
Would have liked an extra easy chair in top bedroom to take advantage of sunny evenings

Quaint and unusual building. Thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Love the blue and copper theme throughout. Comfortable beds.
We didn’t find any fault to be honest, although we did only have a short stay.
A blind over the kitchen window and door would have been useful. A couple of passers by did come down the passage way and peer through!!

Very cute little place, perfect location, great attention to detail.
A lamp in the living room perhaps, and instructions on how to operate the confusing TV.

Absolutely everything was exceptional, the cottage is a complete package of comfort, relaxation and convenience
From the moment we walked through the front door, we new there was no need to even look for faults or issues as we new there wouldn’t be any

Really lovely & unique place. It's in the centre of town but hidden away. The top bedroom is really bright, peaceful & has an amazing view of the church outside. Mike the host was very responsive to messages & kindly accommodating to requests to store luggage.
An optional blind for the kitchen window would have been good.

Fantastic location, very well equipped, very tastefully decorated throughout. Cosy and warm. We had a lovely time staying in Ebenezer Cottage, would definitely use it again if in the area, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family or friends. There's plenty of shops and restaurants very close by covering any requirements you may have. The property is a credit to the owners who have put a lot of effort into providing a very well presented and welcoming place to stay in the centre of Cromer.

Would have been nice to be able to watch the tv

The “quirky” nature of the house was its best feature - you had very little idea of the outside look of the place, as it was hidden by the buildings around it. Lots of charm and character, and I imagine a real adventure for children.
Personally, I did not feel safe with the lack of a door to the top bedroom/sleeping area. Just a personal thing, and I slept in another room with a door. I am also used to having some sort of crib-sheet or file setting out how things work. Again, just a personal choice.

Location in Cromer and proximity to the beach. Lovely master bedroom, tastefully decorated throughout, good facilities in kitchen etc. Great views of the church.
Could have done with a couple of extra towels

Good kitchen and location not bad
It's on 4 levels, one room on each. Very steep stairs are totally unsuitable for a toddler, in fact dangerous..The worst part was a lady coming around telling us we should not be there as she wasn't told. She said she had washing in the machine and I told her we had a sleeping baby so she cannot spin the machine and we would not want her in the property. She said she had a key and would come back. It was very unpleasant because we kept seeing the gate open and thought she was coming. We had to sleep in the basement on the sofa because the bedrooms were to exposed to thr staircase danger. The bottom steps are brick with sharp edges. Nice place for adults but not for children.

Very easy instructions to gain access to the property.
The location is in the centre of Cromer and near pubs so there was a lot of pub noise on the Friday night. It did stop traight after closing. We sort of expected that anyway. I would recommend stair gates for the other flights of stairs, would make parent feel more at ease with the little ones at night.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location. We felt really comfortable here: it was super clean, with lots of little comforts like soft blankets. We loved the nautical theme! The linens were soft and smelled really fresh and nice. The shower is powerful, and the kitchen is really well laid out.
The beds are pretty squeaky and the shower is a little slippery, but honestly this was a fantastic place to stay!!

A wonderfully quirky place.
There are a lot of stairs from the tv room to the main bedroom. But we do need the exercise! It really wasn’t an issue but it’s the only thing I can thing of!

lots of thoughtful and quirky features. everything you need is here. very central location. lovely view of Cromer church from bed in the morning. good heating. very clean and nice quality linen and towels. very friendly and efficient booking / host
quite a lot of stairs which might not suit everyone- but we found they added to the character / charm. Noise from pub a bit loud at weekend - but quietened down after chucking out time (obviously beyond control of host) - but we would stay again. NB we found stair carpet a little slippy on the edges (I slipped down some) - but ok if you take your time.

Cottage was so adorable and great location.
Needed a hair dryer and was very noisy on the Saturday night being next to the pub but wouldn’t stop us from coming back.
