Namaste apartment Fiumelatte-lake view

Great view facing lake como

20-25 minutes walk from main town Varenna. We got off the train at Fiumlatte train station and had to carry heavy luggage to the apartment. When coming back we tried to get an uber to Varenna Esino station, but couldn’t get any. So ended up carrying the luggage up those stairs again to catch the train. No good food options nearby so had to walk to Varenna to get something to eat.

The host was there to meet us and very welcoming and helpful.

Such a beautiful stay in a gorgeous apartment. Fully equipped with all the comforts including washing machine, toiletries and my favourite… coffee for the perculator. The location of the apartment was the stand out with stunning views of beautiful lake Como from the main bedroom, lounge/ kitchen and balcony. There’s a swimming spot just across the road and a restaurant downstairs. It’s just outside of Varenna but a very comfortable walk to get into town maybe 12-15min. Even in the summer heat this was fine. I loved how quiet the area was giving you a break from the busy days in Varenna. Stefano the host was so kind and helpful. Even offered a lift a couple of times if I got stuck and would always respond to my questions on txt when I needed. Thank you Stefano 🙏🏼 I will certainly be back for my next stay on the lake. Felt like something out of the movies.

The service was amazing, we were welcomed very warmly and they even helped us with our heavy luggage. The amenities in the apartment were top-notch and beautifully arranged, and the view was simply breathtaking. Everything about this place was so much better than we expected.

The weather was very hot so another table fan or ceiling fan in the living room would have been very much appreciated since one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed.
