For what we wanted, pretty much perfect.

The property is really at the heart of things, so the location is great. The room was exactly what we needed; somewhere to use as a base while exploring but comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The shared kitchen space used for breakfast worked really well for us, even with a bean to cup coffee machine to get your day going. Fresh breakfast items were delivered daily, including cakes and cookies if you fancied something sweet. An information pack was given to us at check in describing everything to see in the local area, along with a list of recommended places to eat which Sonia (our lovely host) was more than happy to book for us. Trattoria Nonna Gigia was our favourite I think. On the first night we realised that we’d bought the wrong power adapters and couldn’t charge our phones. A quick WhatsApp to Sonia and she told us where to look to find done spares in the kitchen area, which was a lifesaver. The local area has a great feel if you want to explore(and we did), but then stop and have a glass of wine, some cheese and some local meats like mortadella (which we also did!). We stayed for five days and on a bad weather day, went to the Ferrari Museum in Modena which was great if you are a fan. The weather wasn’t good enough for a wider wander around unfortunately. We also went to Florence to visit the Galleria dell'Accademia and see Michelangelo’s David. It’s a brisk 20 minute walk to Bologna Centrale station from the property, but be aware that the fast train is pretty expensive! This was a great trip, made better by our fantastic host Sonia and her daughter.

Our expectation was a well located, lovely, very clean room with a well equipped en suite - that’s exactly what we got with the added bonus of being made to feel incredibly welcome. Nothing negative to say.

I wish we could have stayed longer, we loved this place.

Everything. The beds, sheets, and comforters were SO comfortable. The owner Sonia was absolutely amazing, helpful and welcoming. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge shower, and there was a big breakfast included.

We had such a wonderful stay at this B&B in Bologna. The location was safe and perfect for exploring the city, with everything within easy walking distance. Our host Sonia was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. A heartfelt thank you to her for booking us reservations at a phenomenal restaurant, it truly made our trip even more memorable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast and snacks in the common area were fresh and delicious, the perfect start to each day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Bologna and would happily return. Highly recommend!

AMAZING!

First let me start by saying Sonia (the owner) is amazing! She gave us a wealth of knowledge when we first checked in including tons of information about the area and even included a walking guide with more information about each place listed. Truly valuable information - you can tell that she loves Bologna which was great. This was so so helpful for our stay! The room was very spacious and extremely clean. Breakfast had several different options every day and then left out for guests to snack on throughout the day. They also were all from a local bakery- no generic store bought stuff here. Each room even got their own tray of mortadella everyday which was awesome! Location was AMAZING! Very centrally located! Sonia also made several excellent restaurant recommendations for us while we were there and even made reservations for us. Again I cannot state enough how truly amazing of a host she was. I HIGHLY recommend this property!!!!

The only thing I could even say - which is just knit picking and we were in the room right by the door - is the automatic lock on the door is pretty loud. So you do hear it in your room every time someone locks it. But it really was not an issue.

Sofia was wonderful. She made dinner reservations for us at some great restaurants, fresh pastries for breakfast every morning and gave us wonderful recommendations on thing to do.

excellent stay in Bologna

the location is excellent, right next to Piazza Maggiore, the room is very large, more like an apartment, equipped with absolutely everything you need. The cleanliness is very very good. The host is very kind, he also prepared a presentation of the main attractions in the city. Breakfast is served in the common area of the apartment, a kind of shared dining room, together with the other guests, at a large table.

Comfortable beds, super clean, great location in city centre but also very quiet, and warm hospitality from Sonia and staff- this was a wonderful stay. The property has a lift/elevator and check- in was easy.

Casa Nina is perfect- there is nothing that I didn’t like.

Excellent location. Centrally located. Breakfast consisted of locally sourced baked goods unique to the area provided by Sonia. Sonia is an excellent host - friendly, responsive and eager to ensure a happy stay.

Our room was comfortable and clean. One drawback though, was the maid's supply room was located in our quarters, which made for awkward moments if sleeping in. Initial access to the apartments was a bit challenging. It involved keyless entry to the building via web-link, then subsequent keyless entry to the apartments, followed finally by keypad access to keys to access our apartment. All was well once keys were in hand, but a bit of a gauntlet getting them. Sonia was vital to the entry process, and communicated reliably via What's App - a must!

Come a casa, ma in centro a Bologna

Tutto perfetto. Posizione centralissima e strategica. Alloggio accogliente, spazioso ed estremamente pulito. Letto comodo e pulitissimo. Bagno comodo, con doccia spaziosa e moderna e con bidet. Spazio comune molto ampio e rifornito. Padrona di casa molto accogliente, non solo ci ha spiegato l'indispensabile per fruire della casa e per visitare Bologna, ma ci ha anche concesso piú di una cortesia, andando oltre il semplice "dovuto". Consigliatissimo, vale decisamente il prezzo.

Camera molto bella. Ci è stato offerto un upgrade gratuito visto che si era liberata una stanza più grande. Struttura molto pulita e arredata con grande gusto. La padrona di casa è stata gentile e accogliente ben oltre il dovuto. La posizione è ottimale; a poco più di 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a 2 minuti dal centro di Bologna.

Fantastisk beliggenhet, value for money og service i verdensklasse!

Beliggenhet, frokost, personale, renslighet alt var bra. Bedre enn å bo på hotell. Sonia tok oss imot med åpne armer og tok seg god tid til å forklare om byen, severdigheter, restauranter og guiding. Vi fikk god frokost hver dag fra kl 0800. For en fantastisk service og imøtekommenhet skal du lete lenge etter. Hadde vanskelig for å tro på reviewene når bestilte, men de stemmer faktisk. Tusen takk for et flott opphold Sonia, vi kommer tilbake 😊🙏🏼
