Excellent house for close proximity to the Ferry port.

We really liked the proximity of the house to the Ferry. We thought the house was spotless. Parking was very easy as we parked immediately outside. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the attention to detail eg condiments provided, and uk/eu adaptor plug. Communication from the owner was excellent.

The bannister rail to the top floor felt very wobbly and could do with some attention.

Ideal for short stay near to ferry terminal.

Had all we needed for overnight stay. Well location close to port and short walk to town centre.

Whist on street parking is available adjacent the property the road was double parked with no spaces, so had to leave the car a short distance away. Access to loft bedroom very steep and narrow, with flimsy balustrade.

Excellent for Eurotunnel

Great place to stay for Eurotunnel or ferry. Clean, comfy, well-equipped. Excellent communication with host. We stayed on arrival, and happily on departure too!.

The twin room is accessed through the double room. The stairs to the attic are very steep, as the description says (almost like a ladder). Neither of these were a problem for us, but worth noting.

A great house in a perfect location and parking available around the corner.

Plenty of space for our family of 5 and great location from shuttle. Very clean.

Heating wasn’t on for our arrival and so the house was cold but was fine once it warmed up.

The bathroom smelled like sewerage and was next to the kitchen. There was a chemical air freshener in the living room that I guess was designed to mask the smell but we found unpleasant. The kitchen equipment was not very clean and needed replacing. The kettle was full of white gunk that I couldn’t remove no matter how much I rinsed it out and the pots & pans were greasy and bent out of shape. Fixing these small(ish) details would make an enormous difference.

Couchage pour 6 personnes et les animaux sont acceptés. Pouvoir avoir un logement propre, une bonne literie. Un coin salon et un coin cuisine..

Logement sur 2 étages. Le premier Escalier est un peu raide et l'accès au deuxième étage est périlleux. Sa proximité avec la rue Mollien le rend un peu bruyant... Passage de voiture, bus motos. Pour nous journée de ramassage de verre et de poubelle, 😉

Unterkunft war in Ordnung, Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut.

Die Stadt ist sehr schmutzig, mit Tieren würde ich nicht dort hinfahren, denn in der ganzen Stadt liegen Glasscherben und die Wege sehr schmutzig. Wir sind selbst ein Tag vorher wieder abgereist, da es für das Tier nichts ist in der Stadt.

Süßes Stadthaus

Es handelt sich um ein Haus über 3 Etagen mit 3 Schlafzimmern. Liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Die Lage ist nah am Strand. Check in per Schlüsselbox. Parken auf der Straße ist kein Problem. Nette Vermieter.

Die obere Treppe ist enorm steil und das eine Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer. Uns hat beides nicht gestört. Schade ist, dass die Küche kein Fenster hat. Uns fehlten Haken und kleine Händehandtücher. Alles recht eng, dadurch aber irgendwie auch gemütlich.

Weekend à Calais

Le contact avec les propriétaires, très réactifs et agréables. L'emplacement de la maison, rue calme, parking gratuit. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait point de vue équipements. Les enfants ont adoré l'espace nuit sous le toit. Maison cosy et décorée avec goût. Tout c'est déroulé sans encombre. Je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner.
