About this apartment rental
First-floor apartment (private entrance, no elevator), bright and spacious, with a superb view of the sea, particularly of the Bassin du Paradis (a small boat harbor) and the entrance to the marina.
On this floor, you’ll find a living room (with a sofa bed) and a large, fully equipped open-concept kitchen. The kitchen features a large oven, a microwave, a 3-burner glass-ceramic cooktop, and a dishwasher… everything you need to feel right at home and cook comfortably. A separate half-bath is also located on this first level.
On the upper level, under the eaves of this duplex, you’ll find two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one with two 90x200 beds) and a bathroom (shower and sink). Sheets and towels are provided.
The apartment is ideally located in the lively, tourist-friendly neighborhood. Restaurants, bars, a nightclub, a casino, all kinds of shops, a market, a fish market, a laundromat, a pharmacy… everything is right outside the apartment, surrounding the square where free events are regularly held.
The beach and its famous Dragon statue are just a few meters’ walk away, as are the lighthouse, Notre Dame Church, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Citadel…
The free city bus will take you to other neighborhoods in Calais and the surrounding area, such as Escalles with its magnificent Cap Blanc-Nez—perfect for lovely walks and exceptional panoramic views—Coquelles with its outlet stores and large shopping center, and Sangatte with its sailing center where you can enjoy various water sports…
The SNCF train station is a 10-minute walk (850 meters) away.
Parking is completely free and easy to find all around the apartment.
