Everything is so wonderful and the hotel is so nice and comfy.
Just the water pressure.

Location is great, a big mall in a few minutes away. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, provides towels at the pool, drinking water refills daily. There is a restaurant at the area and we never stayed hungry or thirsty while raining or lazy to go out.

great location just next to the beach, mall and restaurants
shower had a bit of a drainage issue , they could also use new towels for guests as the ones they had were really worn out and over used.

Casa Wina Kuta was beautifully landscaped with pool, massage hut, & small gardens that fit the architecture wonderfully. It was well situated just a short walk from the main esplanade bordering the beach.
We had a superb time. It was relaxing & the staff were helpful.
The room & all areas were kept clean, the air conditioning worked well & even the weather was my idea of perfect.
You can have a Bingtang or cocktail in or beside the waters edge…
Just the type of visit I was happy to have, very enjoyable!!
The bed was good for me, though my partner did find it a little hard, both him & I have past injuries, so our preferences for beds might be a little different than more able bodied folk.
Overall there was nothing I can think of that was off putting about this experience 😃

They were making such a lovely frlendly environment for the gests in the hotel with their kindness by their nature. They were a good team to make the accommodation.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.
Let’s start with the service — or complete lack of it. We paid for a buffet breakfast, which was advertised as included in our stay, but were told there wouldn’t be one because there “weren’t enough people staying at the hotel.” That’s not our problem, and certainly not a valid excuse for not providing what was promised.
The rooms were filthy. Dust, grime, and a general feeling that no one had properly cleaned them in weeks. On top of that, there were bugs crawling around the so-called “restaurant” area — completely unacceptable and unhygienic.
The pool bar was barely functional. It was only open from 1–6 p.m. on certain days, and only if a bartender happened to be working. Not exactly the relaxing poolside experience we were expecting.
Then, just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, on our last night, we were told we had to move rooms due to ceiling repairs. Extremely inconvenient — and it only got worse. The new room’s shower drain didn’t work at all, and the bathroom flooded every time we tried to use it. Apparently the drain was completely blocked. So we ended our stay wading through dirty water.
Absolutely unacceptable from beginning to end. Poor service, false advertising, unsanitary conditions, and zero accountability. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

The staff are lovely and helpful. The size of the hotel as a whole is nice and the pool/s are clean and nice. It’s not by any main roads so it is quiet.
The room I was allocated was run down, it was a joining room to another (locked door between us) so I could easy hear the people in the next room. I’ve stayed at the hotel 2 years ago for 4-5 nights and remember it being a much nicer stay. This time I was disappointed. I believe if you compare this to other properties in the area, it IS overpriced.

Lovely clean rooms , friendly staff , great location!!!!
2.0 / 10.0
Pros. Good location. A short walk to the beach or through the gate onto the top road with Warungs and shops. The garden areas are well maintained and the pool is clean, although there are not many loungers or shade. Each time, we had to ask for the pool towels.
The suite room was a good size.
Cons. No welcome drink, no cold towel on arrival. No instructions as to how to exit the property to the beach or the top road. We used Google maps. We have never stayed anywhere as noisy as this hotel! 2 separate couples opposite had a screaming row at 1.30am, swearing and slamming doors. One family were therefore moved into the room next door to us at 2am. The other couple were apparently evicted the next day! The following night, new guests in the room next door had loud talking on the terrace at 3am, then prayer chanting at 5am!
The room was not cleaned properly, if at all. The floors weren't mopped in the 11 days we were there. We kept the room very tidy and made the bed. Housekeeping, therefore, didn't do much except empty the bins! We had to ask for toilet paper. Twice the spare toilet roll was removed from the room!! Toiletries were not replaced. The shower screen and mirror were never cleaned. There was a metal strip coming away from the sink unit, which was sharp and dangerous. The black tap was peeling. The smell of sewage in the room was overpowering. The kettle was old and took forever to boil. No coffee sachets the first week. Luckily, we brought our own. The safe was locked on arrival and we had to ask reception twice before it was opened. Breakfast was very poor. The toaster was ancient. There were no glasses for juice. Staff at breakfast were not welcoming and quite abrupt. Food was not topped up despite being "available" until 11am. We tried it twice in 11 days, that was more than enough as we were afraid to get sick.
Reception booked us a grab to the airport & the driver wanted to charge A$55! I refused & gave him A$30, it's usually $25! We would not stay here again, don't recommend it to anyone and were very happy to be leaving for home. We've been to Bali 15+ times but this hotel spoilt this trip for us.

I'm a little conflicted with this review, as the hotel has its good bits and its bad.
My friend and I arrived over an hour after the 2pm check in time and my room was still uncleaned from the previous guests. While I did eventually receive a cocktail during the 40 minute wait for my room, I actually had to ask for it. The cleaning was very rushed and not at all thorough. The room looked ok but at closer inspection, it was all a bit grubby. My bar fridge didn't work at all and a request to have it fixed went unanswered. My friend, who was staying in the room beside mine, also had issues. The aircon didn't work and her toilet wouldn't flush.
Housekeeping during my stay was also average at best. No clean cups, no toilet paper, no coffee refills etc.
The lukewarm breakfast buffet is terrible, probably the worst I've ever had in my 17 trips to Bali. I couldn't even stomach the toast.
The hotel grounds are minimalist but nicely presented and well maintained. The pool is spotless and very inviting, with a nice but somewhat pricey swim up bar. The staff are super sweet and very eager to please however it appears they are limited as to what they can actually do when problems arise.
The location is great, directly in between the beach and the shops, with access to both on either end of the hotel.
So yeah, in summary, the hotel did not align with the price we paid or the recent 5 star reviews. I didn't hate my stay but management would really need to address a few issues before I'd ever consider staying again or recommending it to my friends 😬

Location is excellent, we had a newly renovated room which was very nice. The pool has a shallow separate section which is very handy for children
The breakfast is always cold and very average and the road to the front of the property needs to be repaired. Pool beds need to be replaced

Don’t stay in 103 it’s in the corner and not the greatest location for a room at all.
The room itself was ok for us as we used to stay only on way through in Kuta for a few hours from Uluwatu to Ubud. Thankful we didn’t stay overnight. The location was brilliant just a short 3 mins walk to the beach and stalls

I had an amazing time staying at Casa Wina in Kuta. The place is well organized, clean and peaceful. The staff is amazing and the service absolutely met all of my expectations. The location is another great thing about this hotel. 3 minute walk to the beach and about 5 to the Beachwalk Shopping Mall. I will be coming back, definitely.

Absolutely amazing! Hidden gem - right in central Kuta, close to the beach, but hidden back enough that you get away from the hustle and bustle of everything. Rooms are great, beds comfortable and very friendly staff!

It was located near the beach and handy location
The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, there was quite a lot of sand on the floor of the shower and thick white paste around the sink. I mentioned this at checkout and they just apologized. A long story but I was too scared to leave the room after a run in with an aggressive guest! So I didn’t mention it was dirty until checkout, it left me feeling that the bed was also prob not changed 😒

Nice pool and lobby area. In a very good location, very walkable to restaurants etc, however also is very busy and packed full of tourists. Good location if you like the shopping etc of the region but next time we would stay somewhere else (not Kuta). I recommend exploring out the back entrance of the hotel to find quieter streets and lovely local food.
Mould everywhere, leaky roof in the hallway, room wasn't really clean- floors felt dirty and there was what looked to be a 'splatter stain' of something red across our bathroom wall. After mentioning this the staff, they did cleaning of our room each day, which was nice. The road to the property is very small and narrow + not well maintained. So difficult for a car to get down. It was also wet for part of our stay, which caused the small road to flood and we had to walk through the water, not a nice experience. We later found out that there is a back entrance to the accomodation ( that we weren't informed of). It did look like some renovations were being done, so maybe the mouldly walls and roof will be replaced in the near future...

It was quiet
Access to the place was like finding a path through a maze. Narrow dark and potholed alleyways felt very dangerous to walk.
We left the hotel halfway through our planned stay.

Perfect location just in Kuta but deep enough to not hear the noise of the city. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. The day of our checkout the girl at the counter, Tera, was very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend to choose this hotel for your stay in Bali.

I had such a great stay at Casa Wina Hotel! The staff were all incredibly kind and attentive. A big thank you to Fera for the warm birthday wishes—it really made my day feel special. The housekeeping team, especially Wayan, Laras, Angga, and Riski, did an amazing job throughout my stay. The hotel was always spotless and felt very comfortable and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic experience—would highly recommend Casa Wina to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-looked-after stay!

Casa Wina Kuta is NOT BAD. For the price, it's pleasant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Be mindful that it is really tucked away (think: tiny side roads and one-lane streets to get and and back out), and linked to another hotel of a similar name, which is right next door (but a rabbit warren away : ) so... don't be surprised if you accidently tell your taxi driver (or Grab) to take you to the wrong hotel. But once you figure that out: ALL IS GOOD and you will enjoy your stay. BTW: if your toilet smells, or the bar fridge icebox is choked with ice, go and tell one of the staff and or the person and reception, THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT - Happily. It's the cheaper end of hotels, just go with the flow. The stay is pleasant enough. - Neil, from AUSTRALIA! We stayed for two and a half days in early May 2025. Note: if you have mobility issues, make sure you book ground floor rooms only! For everyone else, watch your head and watch your step, and have fun! : )
Toilet of one of the rooms we booked smelt. But we told reception and they sent one of their staff to see if they could fix it. Bar fridge to another room was choked with ice. Again, we told one of the hotel staff and he poured hot water on it to fix it (we moved it to the shower space for this). Hey, but it was fun! (except for the stinky toilet. Nobody likes that : )
